The best and most comprehensive rabbit rescue in this part of the country. You’ll never find a more caring network of volunteers. When a bunny is in need, they find a way to help. Great place to volunteer, donate, and of course adopt from.

Ron and his crew provide loving support and care for abandoned and endangered rabbits. They offer a valuable service to the tri-state area. Their in-depth knowledge helps to address the challenges these rabbits face. EARS relies on volunteers and donations to accomplish their important work.

Absolutely wonderful place for our rabbits in need of care in the region! I came here to adopt a bunny of my own for a companion and now I volunteer here to help. They care for so many bunnies and make sure they get more than just food and water. They make sure the get social time and exercise. They have a great med team and much more. I have made some great friends there. And I love we have this place here.

I want to take a moment to thank the wonderful staff at EARS for helping me through a recent, very difficult time with Princess Rhino Pajama Pants, my recently deceased rabbit, when she suddenly got sick. Princess Rhino stopped eating two days after Christmas, and I didn't know what to do. EARS had helped me trim Princess Rhino’s toenails, and my mother gave me the idea to contact EARS for help. I frantically called in the evening and left a message. Heather, a volunteer there, responded quickly around 8: 30 PM and not only helped me find vets that would be able to see Princess Rhino (rabbits are exotic pets) the next day but came to my house at 10: 30 PM with a bag of Critical Care and anti-gas food, and helped me give both to Princess Rhino, so I didn’t have to struggle alone. The next day, Heather texted me to pass along ideas from the EARS owner, Ron, and to check on how we were doing. Princess is a cosmopolitan rabbit that traveled to Erie from New York City, so she isn't even a former EARS rabbit. Both are passionate, knowledgeable, and compassionate people who went above and beyond for us during a very dark night. No one was paid to help me; they are compassionate, knowledgeable people who truly care about rabbits’ wellbeing. EARS is not only a rabbit rescue but a huge asset for rabbit owners and the greater Erie community. I happily donated all of Princess Rhino’s remaining supplies to EARS and plan to make future monetary donations there. Thank you, EARS for everything.

I started to volunteer here, and I love the rabbits and the other volunteers. They need more to volunteer
