Essentials Salon at Valley Square, Warrington PA

Hi. I wanted to share a story about my 1-yr grandson falling on the pavement in front of Essentials on Saturday, December 10,2022. He cut his face and as my daughter was trying to console him, she noticed one of Essential’s hairstylists looking out the window and pointing directly at them and laughing. My daughter said that Karma would one day address the hairstylist’s blatant lack of compassion, especially for a hurt infant; however, I am an impatient grandparent and sometimes deal out karma on my own. So Essentials, are all your staff as horrible as the one laughing at my grandson’s pain?

I’ve gotten a balayage a few times with Amber who is AMAZING! She is so sweet and always makes my hair look beautiful! I always have a great time at this salon and leave very happy:)

The manager/ management is poorly handled at Warrington branch. I used to love to go here but my recent experience with their appointment slots and time management (making us wait 30+ mins for a scheduled appointment has left a sour taste. Unprofessional! I would not recommend this place anymore like I used to.

My normal salon closed due to COVID and I decided to give essentials a try as my mom recommended it to me. I came into the salon with thick nearly waist length hair and wanted two inches trimmed and long layers. I left the salon with a choppy layered cut that is closer to 6 inches shorter with the longest layers barely reaching my chest. This cut may be cute on someone else but is not what I asked for since I loved having long thick hair and only wanted 2 inches trimmed max. It is also incredibly thin at the bottom which makes it look even shorter. I’ve worked at a salon in the past and know it’s important for communication to be clear at the beginning of the appointment so I was surprised by the outcome of my hair being completely scissored. I know it will grow, but I wish I trimmed my hair myself now that I have a hairstyle I don’t feel comfortable with.

I have always tried to go to an Aveda salon wherever I live. They’re products are great and, from what I understand, their training is better than most salons.
So I was very pleased to find this salon and Renee as a stylist. The vibe of this essentials is much different than the one in Doylestown (which is within walking distance from my home) and I love the easy feeling of my appointments on Sundays.

I visit this salon for my cut and balayage, so far I have not been disappointed! Clean and careful during the pandemic. I felt comfort enough to bring my 4 year old son for his cuts. I appreciate my stylist, she is awesome

Trish at Essentials is a true artist. I have never been happier with my hair and the health of my hair because of the Aveda products used and sold. Essentials is an amazing QUALITY salon. I highly recommend Trish if you’re looking for the most beautiful balayage you’ve ever seen.

Ashley H, has saved and transformed my hair into a dream. For years, I kept bouncing between salons, I just wasn’t happy. Since I met Ashley about a year ago (through a wonderful friend) my hair has improved as well as my happiness! She is incredibly talented when it comes to blondes, creating depth as well as keeping me a very cool blonde, I haaaaate any warm tones. She listens and she remembers. The only thing I highly recommend Is that you get the Olaplex treatment, for 30$ it’s a steal and you will notice the difference.

The salon is always super clean, and staff is wonderful as well, very accommodating.

Receptionist was rude, clearly needs to go into another lockdown and lose her position.barely any client to hair stylist information.just don’t go here, save your money. It’s bucks county there are PLENTY of other businesses to provide funds for during covid.

I made a last minute appointment with Amber because someone recommended her and she slayed my hair! For some reason, lately I haven’t had luck with a stylist correctly highlighting my blonde hair. Amber took the time to understand what I wanted and did a phenomenal job. She is also super sweet and just genuinely cares! Can’t wait to go back!

Hairs to a great job! I drive very far to come here and for a good reason. Lauren does a phenomenal job everytime. She is excellent at color, listens to what you want and executes it perfectly. I highly reccomend her and the saloon.
