European Wax Center, Pittsburgh PA

I scheduled an appointment a full month ago and I get a call a few days before saying that the specialist I scheduled with cannot take it.

I was understanding and flexible and asked if any other specialist was available. I also asked if any other slots before the day I was leaving for vacation was available and they were unable to work with me to find an appointment.

There was no apology or attempt at reconciliation despite me trying to work with them to resolve the issue. I feel like they should have attempted to fill the staffing problem, at least prioritize appointments scheduled so far in advance, or offer some service in the future.

This is not the type of customer service I expected.

I like the walnut street wax center better than the others.sometimes my regular hot wax place (Judit) is really busy and I'm bad at making appointments. This is a good walk in place.

I have been going with Alisha for almost 3 years. She is the best! I like the products and the wax they use in European Wax Center but the customer service that she brings to me it’s extra special.
I totally recommend this place and book an appointment with her. She is fantastic in her job!

Professional and efficient employees! The wax is a good grade, it's their own patented brand and doesn't irritate my skin at all. They also have wonderful beauty products that don't irritate me. I'm very sensitive to chemicals so this is a huge plus that I haven't reacted negatively to their products. I'll definitely be returning!

I got a Brazilian from Jen and it was one of the most pleasant and fast experiences that I've had at any salon. 5/5 definitely reccomend go to her!

I love this wax center. Alyssa is absolutely the sweetest and the best at taking my mind of what she is about to rip off. I come here for a wax monthly, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Their package deals are the best.

Great place great customer service everyone is super friendly an considering I got a full frontal wax it wasn't awkward like i thought it would be. Julianna is great!

Alyssa is my go to person. She is great at what she does and makes sure my eyebrows look exactly how I want them to. EWC is also the cleanest wax center I’ve ever been to and the customer service is excellent.

They make you comfortable and let you know exactly what they are doing. I enjoy my experience there something I will definitely do once a month.

Fast and friendly service. Prices are not the lowest, but they are not highway robbery either. I use their products as well and find them worth the price. Very happy!

Typically have a very good experience here; however this was the second time that my appointment was "not in the system", making me reschedule and return at a later time. I verified the confirmation call yet the front desk person responded rudely stating there was nothing they could do. Double check your appointments as twice I have had my time wasted due to their errors.
