What a great experience! I no longer fear root canal because of how gentle and fabulous Dr. V and Debbie were. They make you feel super comfortable and go step by step on exactly what they are doing. Great staff, friendly, down to earth. The office was super clean and very professional. The receptionist was aldo very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone in need of dental work. Thank you guys again! Fantastic job!

Horrible business. Had two root canals and they were impossible to deal with. After paying over $4,000 I'm still getting harassed to pay them more because they nickel and dime over a million little things.

This was a great surprise. I called the office and they found me an appointment for the same day. (Thank God I was in excruciating pain). They verified my insurance with the dentist as well.
The procedure was painless and Dr Kim was great at explaining it. Office is clean and welcoming!
Would definitely reccomend!

If you must have root canal work done, check out Dr. Kim and the best dental assistants and front desk person. Their patience and professionalism was certainly appreciated by me, a scary senior citizen.

Excellent experience all the way around. Dental emergency and from the reception to the treatment, I could not have been treated better. Billing and cost thoroughly explained before treatment. Dr. Kim was gentle and swift. I felt better by the time I left. Pleasant and respectful staff.

Recently had a root canal procedure completed by Dr. Kim assisted by Debbie. The process was completely pain free and did not take very long at all. I was comfortable the entire time and they could not have been any nicer or more attune to my needs. I would highly recommend this office!

Fraudulently billed me for services not rendered (I had settled my co-pay and other charges before I left my first and final office visit). Despite several requests for an itemized bill, I didn’t receive one, and the additional charge remains inexplicable. I was told that it‘s for something that my insurance didn’t cover, which is absolute nonsense, because I was in the office for a total of 10 minutes and didn’t receive anything more than a hurried examination. I would happily pay the small amount owed if provided with an explanation of services.
I decided to seek treatment elsewhere because it felt that they were putting the squeeze on me (and the dingy South Philly office was not a reassuring environment). It’s obvious that this practice cares little about the patient. I am going to pursue this further because something seems amiss.
Very shady— beware!

First Root Canal done and it couldn’t have went any better. I forewarned everyone including the front desk staff that i was a huge baby when it came to getting dental work. Dr Kim and her assistant Debbie were very understanding with my anxiety and put me at ease. Dr Kim was very informative with the entire process. Debbie was also excellent. Hopefully I’ll never need another Root Canal, but if i do i will definitely return.

I recently had a root canal procedure at Excel Endodontics and then returned a few times with some concerns. I was seen immediately and was treated with incredible patience and care. The entire staff was amazing. The doctors took a lot of time to explain my condition in great detail. The professionalism and caring nature of the staff was exceptional. What a great experience! My first root canal and it was a pleasure. The doctor and assistant were very gentle and explained everything every step of the way. The receptionist was also very helpful and provided me with everything I needed! Highly recommend this office - but hope you never need them!

My experience was great! Everyone I encountered from the receptionist, to the assistant and the dentist were super kind, understanding and professional! I was in a lot of pain and scared and the whole staff made me feel comfortable and confident that they were going to take good care of me! Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Giron Cerrato at the South Philly location for a re-treat on a root canal I had a few years back. She was kind, empathic, knowledgeable, and took excellent care of my tooth.

This is the place to come when you need a root canal. The staff is excellent. The dentists are proffesional and awesome. I felt no pain while they worked on my teeth and I felt no pain at home either after the root canal was done. They accepted my dental insurance and getting an appointment was extremely easy. I highly recommend exel endodontics for your root canal!
