Exeter Family Restaurant reviews
16It was my first time there, it was very clean and the service was good. I enjoyed my meal. They have a menu for seniors at a reasonable price.
Food over price, The food was price high end and wasn't tasty. All plates at the salad bar was dirty. We told them but yet they did nothing. We ate out of the soup bowls, they were clean. Drunk half of my drink before noticing it was dirty. Spent 120.00 feeding 6 people and it is the last time we go there.
Waited an incredibly long time for drinks and food. Friend asked for medium rare steak, it arrived more than well done. Portion sizes were huge. Found it odd that soup and salad bar came with just about everything. We arrived for late nite munchies but didn't need a huge meal so paid extra for things I didn't even need or want. Waitress was not very attentive or even personable. The rest of our food was ok. Not really worth the hour wait for it.
This is the only diner in the area that makes a good open face roast beef sandwich - with actual pulled beef. They are also only of the few remaining 24 hour establishments in Berks County. Excellent food, great service and good value.
Wonderful old fashioned diner, with classic wait staff! A great place, you should go there if you are nearby!
Place was crazy busy this morning. Server and food was as great as usual, but kitchen had difficulty keeping up. So some of our party's food came out well before or after others. First time something like this happened and I think they deserve a pass for today.
I can't believe i never left this place a review. I come here several times a month, usually after my bartending shifts or during my EMS graveyard shift. Staff is incredible (S/O to the 3d shift peeps) and very good at their jobs. Food is hot and fast and servers are sweet and considerate. Prices are more than fair, too!
Absolutely recommend! The waiters are so amazing, kind, respectful and very helpful! I greatly appreciate our waitress named Olivia. She was such a sweet heart and I'll definitely come back again because of how welcomed she made us feel. 100% recommend, food was great!
Great food, friendly and charming staff, really love the salad and soup bar! Best 24 hr restaurant in the area.
Open 24 hours and the food is delicious. This is the only place in the area to get a quality open face roast beef sandwich. They make the best. Prices are reasonable, and alcohol is also available for those who partake. This restaurant is clean, spacious, and has good parking. Highly recommend.
It was okay. I was expecting more but it was simply breakfast. They have watered syrup. Fairly dim inside the place itself. Wasn't the most welcoming. The food was alright. Again nothing special. Probably wouldn't go back.
Had a fantastic meal. Delicious comfort food prepared beautifully. Nice spacious dining area. We'll be back next time we're in the area.
Sat for almost 10 min n noone even got our drink order 3 girls looked at us multiple times n not even a hello
The waitresses were wonderful! (Felt like we were being spoiled by family.)
Food was great! Generous portions!
(Someone does need to check the cleanliness of plates at the salad bar, however.)
You should change your hours online since you are not open 24 hours and your sign says on your sign at the restaurant to
Call in orders and no one even answers the phone!
Great atmosphere terrific service all-you-can-eat salad bar and soup the best. Food is amazing
