I Will NEVER use Eye Innovations in Drexel Hill again!
They canceled my yearly eye appointment because there is a balance my old insurance company didn't pay because of some kind of miscommunication between them and the old insurance company, and a late claim or documentation submitted by Eye Innovations. When I found this out Sept/Oct. 2022, they ask me to call to get it taken care of. I relayed said conversation back to the eye place after speaking to old insurance company. Now Eye Innovations is asking me to call old insurance company AGAIN to get it rectified and paid by them after I already called once and relayed to them what they said and the woman from Eye Innovations office said the office would take care of it and call them back and I wouldn't be penalized for anything.

This visit was over a year ago, and im JUST now hearing about this? I made sure my insurance was accepted & paid my co-pay the day of said visit. Getting this rectified CLEARLY was not a priority for them a year ago! This is between them and the old insurance company.

Everyone was extremely professional. Dr. Major gets to the heart of the problem. She explains in details what’s going on and if you need to see a different specialist for various reasons, she explains why and gives you all the information you need for continued health care.

Excellent and professional services at its best. Thumbs up for the team members and of course the team leader Dr major for the professional services.

I will strongly recommend them to anyone with visions needs and solutions.

I my experience at Eye Innovations was awesome. A convenient location, ample parking and a modern office. The staff is friendly and go above and beyond to meet each patient’s individual needs. Dr. Major is hands down the best eye doctor around. She provides comprehensive care and gives suggestions on ways to improve your eye health and functioning.

Dr. Major and her staff are top tier. Dr is amazing with children and so are her staff. Incredibly light and easy going. I like that I don’t feel rushed when I come here. My only note: bring a hoodie the office is a tad chilly. Trust me. Remembering to bring a cardigan is worth the level of professionalism and treatment you’re going to receive. 10/10.

Besides her knowledge and professionalism, Dr. Major takes time to address my questions and concerns in a way that leaves me relaxed. I highly recommend her services.

I contacted Eye Innovations for my medically needed contacts for Kerataconus. They used my medical card for to the visit and I paid a $15 copay. They later called me that week to tell me that the claim that was filed with Humana was denied. I called to ask why they were told that a prior authorization was needed. When telling the doctor this she said that in order to send the prior authorization she would have to have to full payment of the contacts up front because the insurance may not cover the full cost. After two more months of suffering from headaches and saving up to afford the cost I called and paid of the contracts with the promise that I would be reimbursed the 1,960. Upon going to pick up the contacts I was told the claim was denied. The doctor flipped through pages of documents swiftly in from of me telling me that the insurance company did not need any further information. I have called Eye Med numerous times and specialists have told the doctor what was needed but she refuses to comply. This “person” is not a doctor but a thief. A one star rating is too high for this raggedy establishment.

Update: After posting this the doctors office contacted me asking to take my review down. They still claim that they are not liable nor are willing to reimburse me and continue to deny any wrong doing. I have escalated my grievances to the BBB and the attorney general’s office.

I love Eye Innovations! Dr. Major cares so much for her patient’s overall health! She listens, shares helpful information, and she is very thorough! The staff is helpful and friendly!

Dr. Major and her staff are very personable, in office that is. I can’t echo the same statement via phone. Even after my very first visit, I had to eventually make a special trip to the office because my calls would go unresolved. Dr. Major, your attention to communication, response time and costumer service will cause me to seek out another eye Dr. I’m so disappointed.

This is the best experience I have ever had with an optometrist. Dr Major is so knowledgeable and she provided whole health treatment to me. I learned so many things not only about my eye but my entire body. Thank You

Dr. Major is very knowledgeable beyond the scope of her profession. She really cares about your overall health in conjunction with your eye care. I was very impressed with my appt and the care and attention to detail she gave during my appt. She took the time to explain everything and give solutions. I would def recommend her to others.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. The rooms are exceptionally clean. Dr. Major is nice, patient and makes you feel comfortable during her interactions with you. My only concern was the length of time I spent there because I haven't spent such amount of time at an eye doctor office. But then again, my eyes were being dilated.

I highly recommend this business. I have been coming here for my eye care for the past 3 years and I have learned so much about my eyes. I highly recommend getting a Medical Eye Exam with Dr. Major.
