Skateboard Shop Fairman's reviews
13I have been buying skateboards and vans at Fairrman's for decades, one of the last true local skate shops in the area.thanks for always being there for us, even when we are the old men still out there skating.
I brought my son in to get his board repaired and spoke with a gentleman named Mike. Long curly blonde hair. (I miss my long hair) he could not have been more helpful to my little guy! Thank you so much Mike. I hope ownership is aware of how valuable you are to them!
Not one person asked if i needed help. All 4 guys sat behind the counter staring at their phones. This generation is mind blowing. Absolutely no customer service at all. I get better service at Zumiez.
Great service
Helped me pick out first skateboard
Friendly staff
Great location
Welcoming environment
My grandson and I visited Fairmans today for a board for my grandsons birthday. My grandson is on the shy side but thanks to the wonderful young man who helped my grandson, he was able to pick out the pieces for a perfect board
for me. The salesman was so kind and considerate and not pushy at all. I'd definitelyrecommend this shop t.
Friendly and extremely helpful staff. The staff Helped my son find the appropriate sized skateboard & accessories. The skateboard was assembled quickly. The staff even went above and beyond by suggesting a local skateboard shop closer to my house in Bucks, for future help/purchases. It was worth the drive from bucks County to buy my son a skateboard at Fairman's
Not gonna lie walking into skate shops when you’re a girl can be pretty intimidating especially when you’re a beginner like me. I can’t remember the name of the guy who helped me build my baker board here but he was so nice and really helpful. So many times I’ve walked into places with the intention of buying a skateboard and when I’ve asked for help because I’m a novice I get talked down and spoken to in a condescending way so I just bounce instead of buying. Shout out to this place for not making me feel bad about wanting to learn and helping me find what I needed. I was about to say he was wearing the dark green fairmans t shirt but in retrospect I think they all were lol.
This place is amazing and the workers are very accommodating and extremely helpful.i called them and asked them about lessons and he gave me the full rundown and the price and he gave me his name and phone number.overall the stuff isn’t that expensive and they will help assemble the board.they will show you how to put ok the wheels.
Such a great local staple in West Chester, PA. So much character from such a small shop has come from years a great management, affordable prices and extremely friendly service. If ever looking for skate clothing, boards or hardware please check them out! Way better service than the corporate shops you'll find in Exton and KOP.
Took my son here for his first skateboard and couldn’t have picked a better skate shop to take him to. The guys working were incredibly helpful and really talked to my son like were interested in him picking the right board. Thank you so much for your help!
Fairman’s is worth a trip from wherever you may be traveling. They have a knowledgeable staff who are skaters and are good at providing recommendations for everything from how to setup your board to why one shoe is better for what you want than another. I’ve gone in lately for both board parts and shoes. The help that I got in picking out my shoes was super helpful and saved me from wasting my money by getting shoes online that might not have felt as good for skating. Do yourself a favor and take the time to go see them for any skate parts, shoes, clothes you need.
Fairman's is the best core shop I've ever been to. Great service and they know their stuff—anyone who's been to skate shops knows that those two usually don't go hand in hand. They're local-oriented and stay up to date.
Always heard of this spot in 411s finally went and wasn't disappointed. Oh and it still has the skatepark in it? But used for lessons only?
