Falls City Pub, Ohiopyle PA

We had a group of 20 to feed. This was the only place in Ohiopyle that could seat us all. We had a catered dinner at the pavilion across from the pub. Burrito bar, mac and cheese and more. The food was delicious and there was a TON of it. Non-alcoholic beverages were included, and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this setup for a large, hungry group! Would do again.

Sat at the bar. Got acknowledged once when we were offered menus. Then the female bartender continued to avoid eye contact with us for 10 mins. Then takes the drink order of 2 people standing behind our seats. We spoke up and she snottingly asked if we knew what we wanted and when we said we've known for awhile now she proceeded to say, well "you didn't acknowledge me"

We got up and left. It's her job to ask us if we are ready. She needs an attitude adjustment.

Also a flooded women's room which is unsanitary.

Stopped here after an afternoon of hiking. Staff were friendly but the food and service was terrible. We stood at the outdoor entrance and made eye contact with several staff persons with no mention from them of wait time or number in party, etc. I had smoked meat and it seemed like it was cooked from frozen as there was a puddle of water underneath. They didn’t bring out any silverware with our food because they didn’t have any “yet” so we sat there and our food got cold while we waited. Supposed to have had a specific amount of meat, definitely didn’t get that. Will not return.

Terrible experience from the moment we walked in till the moment we walked out. Waited awhile to be seated. They opened at 3 got there at 3: 15 and they were out of everything. Ordered our food and 30 minutes later our server comes back and tells us they are out of what we ordered. We suggested something else and said they didn’t make enough of it for the people at our table. Our food then came out and the orders were screwed up. As we are still eating they were trying to take things off the table and hand us the bill. Then came back several times trying to collect the bill. As we are eating we felt completely rushed. No one was waiting to even be seated. No silverware either given to us we had to go up and get it ourselves. We barely even got up and someone rushed behind us to clean our table. Overall bad experience this time here.

Brussel sprouts, salmon wrap and tacos were AMAZING! SO delicious- would love to plan a trip out and stop there again!

This place is always a blast, even when busy we get helped pretty quickly. Love to stop here after a river trip.

Falls City Pub & Restaurant at times is a hit or miss. When they are busy it is hard for them to keep up with the magnitude of customers and that is understandable as sometimes, they get very busy.

There are times the food, service, entertainment, and atmosphere was very good. There were other times we waited quite a while to get a seat and had to wait for a while to get our order taken. However, we will go back there as we like the location, the food, and being able to listen to music while we eat.

They have outside and inside seating available, but they do tend to get busy as many enjoy going there. Definitely stop by there as the food quality and prices are exceptional!

A staff member was late so only one server had to run all outside tables and the bar. Because of this, service was quite slow. The brisket was terrible, over a third of the portion was inedible fat or gristle, ordering a $16 1/2 pound meat item and leaving hungry is just wrong. The rueben, onion rings, fries and mac & cheese were good. I recommend only having a beer and looking elsewhere for food.

Great prices, especially for the smoked meat platters with sides. The Mexican street corn on the cob was a fun side for no upcharge. They get very busy, so be prepared to wait at dinner time. Portions are perfect for a drink and dine after a day rafting/hiking in Ohiopyle!

Amazing place to get a great meal and they have a great beer selection on tap as well. I had the briscut with sweet potato fries and Mexican street corn. The service was excellent. Ride in on the GAP Rail Trail. Everyone should check it out. You can just go for yourself!

Honestly hate leaving a poor review but todays experience was terrible. August 5th.
Sat at the bar, waited about 10 minutes before the waitress showed up. Then order drinks and food. Waited about an hour for our food. Our appetizer came out at the same time of our meal. Kinda defeats the whole idea. The tostados were good, but the brisket sandwich was half fat and unedible. The GFs ground turkey burger was unbelievablely dry, and almost no sauce. The salsa and chips were lame. I would of expected homemade chips.

We told the waitress and she gave us a 30% discount. Which honestly didn't feel like it was enough, but I didn't wanna argue. 30% did not even cover 1 of our entrees.

Separately we watched a gallon of milk sit on the bar counter for about 45+ minutes. When I asked the bartender why it was there. She said she was throwing it away. However, as a guest it made me strongly question the health and safety of the restaurant.

Taken as a whole, this is a good place but the manager doesn't care if it becomes a great place. The waitstaff is fantastic, Sydney and Liberty especially, super nice and friendly and apologetic for what i write below. Both inside and outside[dog friendly with water bowls] are great places to eat and have a few good beers, great selection of beers. BBQ sauce is second to none. But here's why they get only 2 stars from our group. One of the specialties is smoked meat, pork, brisket and pork belly. Big smoker outside, smoking hard, smelling great getting you excited for smoked meats. But, this day, a Friday in July at lunchtime, peak time of the year for Ohiopyle, and they were out of brisket and pork belly. So 2 of the 3 meats they sell. Not available. When I made a mild complaining comment to the manager, he was kind of lackadaisical said "brisket is raw, and not on smoke and bellies are a few hours from being done, come back in 16 hours". No explanation as to WHY they were out 2 of their 3 smoked meats. Oh, also smoked corn is on menu as a side.yep, out of that too.
So if you stop by, expect GREAT service and friendly staff, enjoy a good beer, and whatever food may be available that day will be tasty.

Best food and draft beer selection for many miles around! You might be waiting a little while for food if it’s super crowded, but grab one of the 25 or so beers and ciders on draft, and chill! The bbq pork is excellent, and the philly cheesesteak is enormous and had delicious cheese sauce with a touch of whole grain mustard. Yum! Definitely upgrade to the fries as your side, they are fresh and delicious. Great atmosphere and super friendly people. Just what you need after a day of rafting or hiking.

Liberty was our server and was fantastic! Offered a sample when we had a hard time choosing an ipa, called us by our names just from listening to us and his recommendations were perfect. Salads were fresh, salmon wrap is a favorite appetizers were delicious, and the drinks were perfect!
