Farley's Bookshop, New Hope PA

My favorite bookstore. Whenever I am in New Hope, PA, the visit isn't complete unless I stop in.

We stop in every time we're in New Hope to help out independent bookstores, but they could use some lessons in customer service. They have seemed almost surly the past couple times we've been there. Maybe we've just been coming there at a bad time?

Clean, parking on street (busy), pleasant staff.

There are a few places to get books in the area, but this seems to be a staple for residents, so you might be able to find an eclectic item for your own consumption.

This bookstore is like something out of a movie in that it's super cozy, filled to the brim with titles, and staffed with some of the friendliest and most helpful employees you could ever find in a small business shop. I purchased a few novels and would have spent all day here if I could. I'll be a repeat customer for sure.

This is not the first time we have been in this gem! Great book store, ambience, selection, allowed my puppy to browse with us bc we had him in a stroller. Always a must stop when visiting New Hope with my son from Florida!

There's a ton of books and the shop is bigger than it seems. There is a really good selection and I found two brand new Calvin & Hobbes books!

Best in the world. We visit every single time we’re in New Hope. This is a really special place for readers. The staff recommendations are always keen and thoughtful. The collection of books is a treasure trove.

Displays book on Mid-century German Philosophy right in their window. How an independent book shop can be so divisive and still exist is beyond me. Their Late Pandemic mask policy is indicative of their division.

You can always find something to read here. And in doing so support your local small business bookstore.

Wonderful bookstore. I've been shopping here since the 1970s. Great selection and helpful staff. I always leave with a smile on my face.

Makes it very hard to support a small business when I have to make an appointment to buy a book a week before Christmas, I'll take my business elsewhere.

One of the two best bookstores ever, along with Back of Beyond Books in Moab, UT. Farley’s is a magical place; it’s everything a book shop ought to be. And Julian is a treasure.

Love this bookstore! They have a wide selection and great prices. They also have a super cute cat that wanders around the store! Would highly recommend going here.
