Fiddler's Bar and Grill reviews
16Food took forever to get salads probably about 45 minutes to get main dinner 1hr 38 minutes. Drinks were slow to. Had great friends to talk or our group would have been upset
Had one of the specials here, a lobster burger. I was a little skeptical but it was amazingly great! Lobster, lobster sauce and an awesome burger. I hope this makes it on their regular menu!
Fiddler's did a great job taking care of a very large group. Once the bulk of the private party left, everyone was still taken care of and the staff made everyone feel welcome to stay on and keep having a great night.
I was there for my class reunion. We had a buffet. The appetizers we ok. The buffet was a disappointing.
We visited on a Friday evening and were able to get a seat without a reservation. Would have preferred to sit in the bar section because they have TVs and seemed cozier. Maybe if we would have had reservations we could have made a request for seating in this area. Regardless, we were seated in the back room which has mostly booths so offers privacy. The waitress was attentive and timely. I enjoyed a burger and onion rings, and were cooked appropriately (medium for burger) for my tastes. My husband enjoyed a fish sandwich and my daughter a chicken sandwich. I would definitely return here.
There was a really odd and bad smell in the bar and restaurant all summer. It seems to have dissipated or drain traps have been cleared. I've sat at the bar in there for over 15 mins without being acknowledged. The bar is set up very inefficiently for the bartenders to do their jobs efficiently. Who in their right mind designed that BS?
Food was good and reasonably priced. Atmosphere was “clean and crisp” and the staff was friendly.
A little on the fancier side without needing to feel like you're underdressed in jeans.
Staff were very polite and friendly, the view is very nice, and the food was delicious. There is a nice selection of draft beers, and while the prices are a little on the high side, the portions are fitting for the prices.
Overall this place surprised me by being a golf course restaurant with a pleasant quiet atmosphere and great food.
I think there's very poor management of the restaurant. The servers and management should def stop sitting at the bar drinking and speaking poorly of other employees, i couldn't enjoy any of my time spent there either time i was there. So sad that goes on in public let alone in privacy. You should stop
Great staff from Wait staff manager to attentive bartender too! Fun and respectful staff with attention to courteous prompt service! Like the good old days! Not to mention the great food (Bacon Cheeseburger!)
Not a place I'd eat at again. Family of six, only two enjoyed their dinner. Waitress was quite unfriendly. And we were charged for uneaten food we did not like. Definitely overpriced considering the poor service and underwhelming food.
Great crab cakes. Loved the spinach side. Spouse's tuna was good except a bit overdone. Good service. Prices are reasonable. Nice surroundings.
Always a great experience when I visit Carlisle area to take my 93-year-old Uncle to lunch or dinner.or play at least nine holes with my brother who lives in area too.
Beautiful space especially the patio. Being the craft beer lover that I am, I was hoping there would be more local craft beers available, especially from Molly Pitcher which is located in Carlisle, 15 minutes away. Hostess was great. Server could have been more friendly and outgoing.
Our family stopped for dinner while we were on vacation. The crab cakes, salad and steak were all really good. My son approved of the chicken tenders and french fries. Our server was friendly, attentive and on her game. We're so glad that a local recommended this gem!
We had lovely dinner. The view outside was beautiful. The food was great including the brownie sundae for dessert. Our server Latoya was awesome! She was funny, personable and very accommodating to our needs. We will be back again.
