West Scranton Branch is easily the worst bank in North eastern Pennsylvania. Go with PNC down the block.
Establishment is kept to an amazing level of cleanliness considering the area. Employees are always courteous, friendly, and as helpful as possible. I've personally never had to wait longer than a minute for assistance. Their coin counting machine also has an absolute zero charge, as opposed to the insane charges of Coinstars in the area. You also do not need to be a member of the bank to do use said machine. Highly recommend.
Nice staff the times I’ve been in, so no complaints on that end, but I also use the ATM, weekly at least, to pull cash to pay our babysitter and the ATM has been down 4 out of 5 times everytime I’ve gone which is super inconvenient. Various days and times as our schedule changes so it’s not like a regular maintenance thing. And the account that I have should not have a monthly service charge and yet every month I am calling because they withdraw from my account and it’s always a quick adjustment but another aggravating thing to constantly have to deal with.
I just recently switched to Fidelity when I got my mortgage. I worked with Pat Boles and Erin Walsh; both are extremely kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. I highly recommend them!
Ok I had to wait to comment so I could calm myself first. I have the patience of a saint when dealing with a new employee but today I just had enough! I went to the West Side branch at 9am to do an easy transaction which was to put money on one of your prepaid mastercards. I was there till 9: 25. Now I wasnt so mad at the new teller as I was with all the other employees there that did know what to do but offered no assistance. Now this wasnt a one time deal. It also happened back in June when I first got the card. And furthermore its a constant waiting at the drivethru eveytime I stop there. Thats all I wanted to say. Thank You for letting me vent.
