Field of Screams, Mountville PA

Very disappointed with this visit. Very understaffed. I think most of them enjoyed smoking weed in their break area over actually standing at their posts to "scare" people. The hayride and live band was my favorite part. I'm definitely going back to Pennhurst Asylum for future events over this place.

They used the "due to covid" excuse for having 1 actor in the wasteland which was an outside attraction. But then they want to cram 3 rows of people on the hayride. The lack of actors in the attractions ruined the entire experience Maybe if they hired enough people instead of asking for volunteers it would be worth going to again.

This place is good if you have kids under 7. Go to shocktoberfest in sinking spring. It's the best place around.

Places like this aren't meant for the faint of heart or those with certain types of ptsd. I am not faint of heart, however I do have ptsd. While taking a tour of the asylum on Sunday, August 15,2021, I had a full panic attack and I had to exit the building early.

Fun place. Only downfall is long lines especially for nocturnal wasteland. They need to find a way to seperate the groups so its not one long chain and everyone then is prepared for the scares. The other 3 attractions are spread out quite well

One of the better attractions of its kind. Confusing access to attraction due to three different parking areas. You will have a long walk if you park in wrong lot.

It was great! Had fun with my cousins although it was very very crowded? Needs more organization for this whole pandemic situation. I was touched on the hayride it was crowded on there. It was very fun though enjoyed the drive and visit we left around 1

My fiancé and I are haunt actors ourselves at Scream Mountain & we were excited how we saw the Field of Screams were doing something mostly every month during this pandemic.
They were very organized and handled the covid guidelines so well— Very impressed.
We do have to say that the St. Patty’s Massacre was our favorite one.

Can’t wait for the Haunt Season and see what they have planned!

Had an amazing time there, all the houses were amazing and full of good energy and so so scary, I recommend you going if you have never been there. I drove 6 hours from buffalo New York and I will be coming back!

Absolutely amazing. Had a blast at the Valentines Day event they had this past saturday night. Den of Darkness was the best. Never knew where something or some one was gonna pop out.

Had a great time! While social distancing wasn't really possible in the small spaces all employees wore their masks properly. The only issue we saw was that in the houses some guests had their masks completely off, typically my group wasn't near any others so it wasn't too big of an issue but it's still something that staff should try to address more often. We bought the VIP passes and they were absolutely worth the money, we were moved to the front of the line and probably waited a total of five minutes. The attractions were so well done and the actors were super impressive and involved with guests. We had a great time at their Valentine's day event and plan on coming back in March. It was a great experience that is worth the drive and money!

The place was a lot of fun. Not many scares though. For me anyway. I myself have never been to any type of haunted anything, and I wasn't scared at all. But the staff were cool, and the chicken fingers and fries were good. Merch was a little on the high side. But I still bought a hoodie, a beanie and a t shirt. I'll go back again.

Very fun place! Could seem expensive but if you go for all the attractions it is worth the price! Great actors even though they are volunteers!

It was cool but very scary I do not like when they creep up on you that is the worst thing about the place and them with chainsaws that scared me

Amazing actors, costumes, makeup! Lines went quickly. Escape room was a bit difficult but so much fun! Awesome experience

I've been to many haunted houses before and Field of Screams did not disappoint! I visited in October and the Haunted Hayride and Den of Darkness were absolutely phenomenal. Sometimes haunted houses can be really boring and pretty plain but this contained many elements that I haven't see at other haunted houses. The only attraction I didn't like was the Nocturnal Wasteland because it was mostly props and set designs but not many actors. Besides that, I rate this place 5 stars because the other attractions were fantastic.

Scary fun! Actors were awesome polite and really cool! Brought my daughter and she had a blast! Very detailed sets great actors! Really scary!

One of the best places to go to be scared. Lots of attention to detail. You can't go wrong coming here for a good scare.
