Great communication from start to finish. In the age of Covid they were extremely helpful in making everything work whether it be by email, text or over the phone. We were very pleased with Filo.

I wanted a no-nonsense, low-cost, straightforward refinancing experience. Filo Mortgage fit the bill. We closed in record time, even including the holidays. I had to provide a lot of documentation because I'm self-employed, but otherwise it went without a hitch. They were clear, concise, and prompt in their communication. They also had the lowest rate and closing costs that I could find.

This was the best closing we have ever had (out of six). The staff at FILO was easy to talk with and very helpful. Katharine Connell worked out all of the terms with me at the beginning and there were no changes or surprises at the end. She answered all of my questions and had a deeper knowledge than any of the other lenders we spoke with by phone. We compared FILO to 4 other lenders and FILO's cost were the lowest. A notary came to out house for closing that lasted less than an hour. I rarely take the time to write a review but I highly recommend FILO.

We found out about Filo Mortgage through Nerd Wallet. Of all the places we applied for refinancing of our home, they had the lowest rates, lowest closing cost, and all throughout the loan process there were no surprises. The loan officer we were assigned worked his tail off to get us the best rates and lower cost. He was excellent in staying in touch and following up. The people from other departments were very helpful as well. Filo's website makes uploading docs and information very easy, and they were quick to follow up if a document did not load correctly. (I am not the most tech savvy) All of our questions were answered in a timely manner, usually the next day. And closing was a snap. The closing was at the house, we signed the papers, and that was that. We have had quite a few mortgages over the years, and this whole process was really easy. Ridiculously easy!
It would be well worth a persons time to check out Filo. You won't be disappointed.

Was a bit skeptical at first. Whole process end to end was fantastic. No issues, great communication, technology, etc.

Got my refinance closed in 3 weeks after dealing with the previous Lien holder for over 4 months. I had to verify my employment every paycheck with this company. The worst I ever encountered. (Don’t do any business with Caliber Home Loans) they are horrible. I put my information online and Nick responded to me. Let’s say I am very happy that I found Filo and Nick. 3 weeks, Outstanding!
