We just walked in for happy hour and ended up staying for dinner at the bar. The vibe was fine dining without being stuffy - we were in jeans but felt comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive. The happy hour specials were really great and included cocktails as well as wine.
My top bite of the entire meal was from an appetizer/small plate (cicchetti) : beef tartare. It was bright with lemon zest and well balanced. The crisp held up without overwhelming the tartare.
We also shared two other starters, two vegetables and two pastas.and two desserts. Though it's a steakhouse, we didn't have a cooked steak just because of our mood but we will definitely be back for one.
Each dish was well balanced and flavorful. We can't wait to return, especially to happy hour. Thanks to CJ at the bar for excellent service and recommendations.

Love everything there! Went for an event and it was lovely. Great pasta, loved the seared sea bass salad, and the chocolate cake was dreamy. Would love to go back again for a cute and romantic dinner experience.

I'm not one to regularly post reviews, but last night I had one of the best dining experiences in my life. Reading the low rated reviews have me shocked at how poor some people's taste and perspective are. This is a fine dining experiences, so it's obvious that it comes with a high price tag. I found it totally worth it.

As a restaurant owner myself, I found the service and attention to detail phenomenal. The food did not fall short either. We ordered the beef tartare, oysters, sea bass crudo, Caesar salad, and dry aged rib eye. Every dish was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Possibly the best steak I've ever had in my life, and this is after trying the A5 Wagyu at Barclay Prime. Will definitely be returning for special occasions, and the manager Joseph was extremely friendly and accommodating.

Solid Vetri outting BUT something about it was cold. With those prices, you hope to have an excellent experience, but it landed just ok for me and my wife. Server felt like we were just a table on a list to manage. Food was tasty but not exciting. After eating at Vetri, which was my favorite dining experience EVER in Philly, expectations were maybe too high going into this one, because it just didn’t knock it out of the park for me. Needs some additional menu items that are exciting and inventive. Almost there.

Can't say enough about the excellent service, and of course, Vetri's food is always outstanding. Love this place!

Had an amazing dinner here to celebrate my aunt’s retirement. The drinks were delicious — the lavender spritz was my favorite with the addition of some Tito’s. If I had to say my favorites it was the prosciutto, prawns, beef tartare, squid ink bucatini and roasted baby carrots. The chef also sent out a celebratory dessert for my aunt — the lemon tarte. HIGHLY suggest saving room for that because it’s delicious. The staff was amazing and attentive. Loved every minute of the experience!

Wouldn’t recommend and will never go again. Outlandishly priced food and a disappointing evening. Loud, industrial vibe with mediocre staff. Cod & Wagu were unsatisfactory.

For the price, in my opinion, Fiore Rosso is not worth it. The food was decent but not great. We had the squid ink pasta and the ribeye. The pasta was good, but I've had much better steaks elsewhere and for a fraction of the cost. The steak had also been sitting too long and by the time it arrived it was lukewarm.

The experience was underwhelming and the service/ambiance was very odd and not wha. I'd recommend any of Marc's other restaurants before this one.

Perhaps the best meal I’ve ever had, every single thing was excellent. And we tried almost every one. Service was alsocexcellent. Thanks Hayden or Payden (?)

What a great addition to the main line restaurant scene.we have been twice now and both meals were outstanding. The salads and pastas are perfectly executed and the steaks are great too. Expansive (and expensive) wine list but they make it pretty easy to navigate, plus the sommelier is helpful. Service has been attentive and friendly. Looking forward to going back again!

Highly recommend! I’ve been here twice now and this place is top notch. The service and food are amazing! The drinks are good- different but the bartenders are great and really know their craft. Our server was Ricky and he’s awesome! I love that we don’t have to travel into the city for this caliber of food and scene- so convenient. I can’t wait to return!

Very good food and service, I liked the main courses and dessert more than the appetisers. Main courses and steaks are very pricey considering that you need to order a side.

Shannon and her team provided a first class experience on a busy Valentine's Day dinner service. Every staff encounter was pleasant and the food tasted incredible! Pastas and steak were cooked perfectly. I highly recommend the wagyu rib cap, pastas, and any specials they may be offering at the time. Thank you for making our holiday extra special!

Im sorry, mediocre. Great service, but everything we had (pickled vegetables, prawns, red snapper) were average at best. Considering the price and name behind it, I expected much more. The main line has so many other options that blow this place away. We spent the end of the meal talking about the half dozen other places we should have gone to instead.

Fiore Rosso has been a phenomenal addition to the local food scene… it is a well executed meal/dining experience outside of center city Philadelphia. The execution of dishes is top notch, they’ve clearly spent time training the staff to ensure the service is professional/relaxed but also direct when you need it to be.anyone that appreciates great design/aesthetics along with quality art will also enjoy their experience at Rosso due to the great collection of art on display. Picasso and Miro lithographs, check.local painters other great photographers prints, check. Quality materials used in and throughout the space, check. Wine list could be expanded to include more quality French and US wines (they’ve stuck to Italian mostly as it’s their dna) and probably don’t have the interest (yet) to expand the cellar… and the only mild complaint we had is the pricing is about as steep as they can get away.with without creating a stir:)

The good news is, the price is worth it due to the competency of the staff, the chef, & his team.

True professionals with solid financial backing.and it shows!

Bravo Fiore Rosso and thank you for the commitment to the area.
Now, build your next Media/Glen Mills

After a rough couple of days of work, I was craving a steak. I remembered that a steak place opened recently, just steps from my apartment. The restaurant is very nice, inside and out. I sat at the bar. I recently had a rib eye at a popular KOP steak place and it was probably the best steak I've eaten, melt in your mouth. The menu listed a ribeye at $150 (gulp!). But things are going well for me and I decided why not. I ordered the ribeye, the honey nut squash salad and the Brussel sprouts. Let me say that the squash salad and the sprouts were delicious. The $150 ribeye? I was disappointed. The portion was more than adequate (32oz). It was a bit more rare than I like but I was ok with that. The flavor was somewhat bland. And they cut it in pieces ahead of serving, I would have preferred to have it served whole. It definitely needed a kick of seasoning. The service was excellent from the host to the bartender. I am planning on returning for another go at it.

The best restaurant on the mainline— and it competes with top city restaurants as well. The service, drinks, food, ambience— all amazing!

My sister got married here in the private room and I cannot say enough good things about the food, staff and gorgeous restaurant. I am still thinking about the steak and wishing I could come back and get more. I am so excited to come back and dine here again.

Looking on-line for a special restaurant to celebrate a friend’s birthday, we found Fiore Rosso, Marc Vetri’s newest establishment. Cozily tucked away in the Bryn Mawr Village Shopping Center on Lancaster Avenue. The warehouse-high ceilings seem to double the considerable size of the dining room. The plain walls are decorated with high end art work, including a Picasso and an original Miró. A clear wine refrigerator and a meat-cutting station are the focal points of the far wall. They also can be categorized as “art works. ” The staff is welcoming and enthusiastic. They give the impression that they have been waiting for YOU all night, and can’t do enough to ensure that you enjoy your visit. The wine list is exclusively Italian wines, as befitting an establishment billed as an Italian Steakhouse. The wines by the glass can accommodate anyone’s palate and budget. The wines by the bottle scale the heights of the ceiling. Our waiter, Rick R, expertly explained the menu, options, preparations and which listings were sizeable enough to share for the table. Our party of 4 enjoyed the Durum Focaccia, ricotta mortadella, pistachio bread, Beef Tartare, and Grilled Prawns as appetizers. Three of us drank the Rocco Nebbiolo d’Alba red wine, while my wife, a confirmed Chardonnay drinker, enjoyed the Grillo Superiore Colosi white. Our dinner choices included the Wagyu Rib Cap (similar to a filet mignon), the Striploin, and to be different in an Italian “steakhouse, ” I ordered the whole Branzino. My three companions with steaks all agreed that they were worth every bit the cost. While I have enjoyed whole Branzino in several favorite restaurants, this one was different. It was practically filleted. I could only find a few small bones in what appeared to be the whole fish. It was also delicious. We finished with desserts and cappuccinos. The food, atmosphere and service indeed make this an excellent venue for a special event!
