Firefly Playground, Matamoras PA

A beautiful park with so much for the little ones to do. Our kids loved it & had a blast.

Gated. Clean. Splash pad. Shady trees. Bathrooms. Sandpit. Swings. Lots of seating and pluses. However, there is a $1 pp charge for non-Matamoras residents and "security" is a bit tough and needlessly rough. It's a playground, it's not that serious.
Splash pad has been broken most of this season.

Awesome place to bring your kids. Plenty of things for them to do, including the splash pad. Very friendly staff.

It’s very good, don’t get me wrong. The area is decent to say the least. I don’t really have anything bad to say. It’s just like any other park.

We frequent this place often in the summer time and usually love it for my 3 year old however yesterday when we went they had some kind of “security” at the gate to get in and he yelled at my 3 year old to stop at the table to pay (who was just excited to go play). It was really disappointing and completely uncalled for.afterwards, he proceeded to stare at us and other families. Very uncomfortable.

Uodate: 2023 the park is still amazing and we still love coming here every time we are up visiting. My son has such a great time here.

Such a amazing park! The people who greeted us at the gate were so nice and helpful. This was such a great place to play for my son who is two. So much room to run and the playground was just the right height for him. Also the best part was it had a lot of shade! Which was great with this heat wave. Can't wait to take him back again. Loved it!

Firefly Playground is a Clean, kid fun, fenced-in local park with playsets for all ages and benches for the guardians. My granddaughter's favorite park.
