As a man, a lot of salons treat you like you don’t know what a good mani-pedi and general salon experience is, and this place was no different. I had made an appointment online for a men’s spa mani-pedi. When I showed up and checked in, they asked if it was just a manicure and I corrected them. They then proceeded to just give me a standard manicure of the worst quality of experienced. I’m sure the women get good quality, as well as the men that show up with women, but this is not the place. The one good thing was that the people were nice, and they ended up just charging me for the standard manicure. My nails, however, were not properly buffed, and the cuticles were poorly done. I don’t see myself coming back ever, and will no be recommending them to any fellow performers.

I came to this business for the first time last week for a full set and gel on my toes. I was serviced by Alicia (hands) and Christina (toes). They were both so kind. Alicia was so kind and worked very fast to accommodate me. They did exactly what I asked for. I was very pleased with the service. My service total was $105, which I thought was a bit higher than I’d expect for a full set and just gel polish on my toes, no pedicure, but all in all I was happy with the service. Thank you ladies!

Went here for set of gels with an appointment- overly packed and I get that because it's a holiday in a few days so I was patient the whole time. Makeshift nail tables everywhere, I was shuffled around to three spots before a woman filed my nails and completely butchered the long nails I had when I came in, now i have to cut them all off to stubs, naturally I wanted them to be nice for the holidays. They are completely uneven and jagged, crooked on my fingers it's a total mess. Legit looks like someone took a hacksaw to them. I'm sorry but I don't know how any normal person, let alone a professional, could think they were doing a good job here. I really wish I didn't let them touch me while clearly rushing. I was told to get up mid-way through the file/prep for someone else to sit in my spot and was just standing there in the way for 10 mins or so. This was after waiting almost a half hour after my appointment time which was annoying but NBD considering it was busy. I decided to just walk out because I knew the quality was going to be bad and the way they had filed my nails and were treating me alone was a total disaster. They weren't really paying any attention to me so they probably didn't even really notice. I wasn't visibly upset or anything just decided I couldn't deal with the insanity of the place anymore. I am not one to write bad reviews, this place is just fine on a regular day, maybe 3 stars, not great, not ever this terrible.but they are taking too many people and the quality they are putting out is really shameful. They botched my hands completely. I am a generally understanding person especially when it comes to service but i wanted to warn others about this experience, I woulda made an appointment somewhere else.

Very mixed bag when it comes to how your manicure will turn out. I’ve had a near perfect SNS set (lavender nails) after pointing out my extremely thick one that looked really bad from the previous visit (green nails). Most recently, the nail tech drilled my nails down so much removing the prior SNS that there are dents and red spots all over them, and they hurt! I am so upset because I’ve had such good experiences here in the past, but the inexperienced people need more training before working on customers. Now I have to heal my damaged, thin nails from the drill and cannot enjoy manicures for a long time. This used to be a place that took the care and time to do nails well, now they just want you in and out as fast as possible.

Amazing people. Their service was fast, and my nails looks amazing. Also, great prices as well. Highly recommend.

Very good customer service, a little on the smaller narrow side on space inside. They offer you beverages during your service and a brief back massage at the end of service. Prices are a little expensive at least for a pedicure.

I’ve been going here regularly for almost 5 years now for dip manicures and regular pedicures. I won’t go anywhere else! Everyone that works here is so friendly and helpful. They all do an amazing job and will go out of their way to make customers comfortable. As a bigger woman, it is uncomfortable for me to sit at some of the counter chairs they have. Everyone there knows this and makes sure I get one of the chairs that are more comfortable for me. I don’t even have to worry about asking because they just know! One thing to note is that they do not do acrylic nails. You can get extensions with dip though, which is similar and does less damage to your real nails. I highly recommend checking this place out!

They were very friendly upon walking in. When I left I was satisfied with the service. My issue is 4 days after paying $60 plus tip for a dip powder manicure my nails are chipped. Not just one, 3 of them. I did call and was told I can come in and have them fixed but if 3 are already chipped, I can imagine how soon the rest will fall apart. It was my first and last time coming here. I’ll be returning to my regular stylist in NYC where it lasts 4 weeks minimum & even then no chipping.

I love this place because it’s reasonably priced but the service is above and beyond. They offer you a drink while you’re there and also include a shoulder massage at the end!

Went here today for a pedicure and had a positive experience. Unavoidable to feel slightly out of place given I was the only male in the place but otherwise was attended to and treated well! There is an ATM in case you do not have cash on hand for a tip. Cards are accepted but you cannot tip on a card.

Went during a busy time with a prescheduled appointment. Not sure if the staff was just stressed out from being busy but they gave me a really condescending attitude on my gel color selection and the floor manager even rolled her eyes when the nail tech asked me to confirm the color. Don't really need this kind of attitude if I'm paying $50 + a tip for service. Other than that, manicure looked great! May be back in the future!

I'm just going to restate a lot of what was already said in these reviews. It does not matter if an appointment was made because you will be waiting! I was not offered any drink because they do offer wine and coffee (apparently). I was asked to pay before my manicure was even over? The woman doing my nails, Bemy (I think her name was?) was groaning under her breath and rushing. I got a French manicure which is unevenly done. While doing the manicure, she hit one of my nails in to her hand when switching to the next finger. In which, she went "oh my god". Then I felt like I HAD to apologize for something I did not even do wrong. She told me that it was okay with an attitude. If I could get a dollar for evertime she groaned under her breath or was rude, my manicure would have been free. To think, I tipped her when I definitely regret doing so. I do not like to not tip those who make most of their pay check off of tips so I felt like I had to, even though the experience was uncomfortable.

I have been going to Fishtown Nail Bar for a while now and I’m always impressed with their quality of work and competitive pricing! Also they are all so nice there and make you feel welcome. Recently Bely did an amazing job on my wedding nails- she really listened to what I wanted and took my vision into a reality. Would highly recommend to anyone in the neighborhood!

This is my first time trying this salon and it was such an uncomfortable experience. I’m surprised their rating is so high. I came here with my boyfriend and when we walked in everyone just stared at us like deer in headlights. It seemed like we were unwelcome. They had my feet sitting in water for 30-45 mins before someone came over to give me a pedicure. It seems like they can do very basic things like french and simple one color things, very boring. It looks like a lot of older people in the area come here. Was not offered a complimentary drink or even water like the other customers in the salon. Will never come here again.

This place is professional, reliable, and super cute! They always offer you something to drink and the points system saves you money if you’re a regular. The prices are fair and they always do a great job. They have a good selection of dip, gel, and regular polish colors and they really care about the health and strength of your nails.

Love the attention to detail of the staff and wonderful atmosphere of this shop! I always make new friends and they serve complimentary wine. Recently tried something new on my nails with a suggestion from the girl next to me and I am obsessed. This has quickly become my new nail place in the past year!

I have been coming here for months now and have had a great experience every time, no matter the nail tech! I have always had an issue with gel peeling off and have tried so many salons with no luck. My gel manicures here always last at least 2 weeks and even longer when I don’t get back in time. Reasonably priced, clean and nice staff. Super happy with this salon!

Went as a walk-in. My nail technician asked a lot of questions to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. She took her time without being slow. The space is clean and service is great!
