Fitler Club reviews
16First time here and OMG, the place is a photographers dream, with all the nooks and places you can photograph. The staff such professional, made this a truly amazing experience.
Still at the hotel and while it is definitely an experience, this falls short of what you’d expect for the price. The entrance, although discrete, is uninviting. There was only 1 elevator working which was slow. The decor is odd. While some aspects are amazing (like the work with rough textures, dark colors, and bright artwork), others leave a lot to be desired (like the odd pictures of young men smoking hanging in our room). There are absolutely NO views from your room. You are in a redecorated warehouse, so you get warehouse views. The water pressure was awful (even for the bathroom sink let alone the shower). The room’s visual fire alarm kept flashing every 10 seconds all night, impeding our sleep. Overall, not good value for money. Philly has much better options in this price range (and that’s what you’re up against). This is why it gets a solid 2 stars.
This place was great. Clean, super modern, and just a fresh crisp feel. Love it! Simple to get in and out of too!
Was there on account of a club member. We made use of the theatre room, where we watched a movie with a group of friends.
We ordered A burger meal, which was very tasty and the cocktails were decent.
Very beautiful and awesome service. It can be hard to find and also parking will cost you if you're not a Philly local.
Top class wedding venue with a great trophy (read games) room with pool, bowling, table football, arcade games etc. The food for the wedding was superb
We attended an event in their garden space and were offered a tour of their facilities. We were impressed with the professionalism and graciousness of the staff from the bartenders to the front desk greeters. Although Fitler has club members, you can rent space for weddings, meetings and other special events. The owners support talented local artists by displaying their work which is for sale. Their gym facilities include a rock climbing wall. The hotel is close to Center City but it is tucked away.
You never have to leave because this is more than a hotel. It is a jewel nestled in the heart of downtown Philadelphia and offers pool, gym, office spaces, games room and car service just to name a few of the amenities. The staff was so professional and helpful & made my stay delightful.
This was my first time at the Fitler Club. I was there for a Spirits Tasting (Bourbon, Rum, and Tequila)
It was fabulous! They provided light food fare to accompany the Tasting, and then we were able to order drinks made with the liquor that we tried. The Sommelier took us on a tour of the Club. Honestly, I'm thinking about getting a membership!
Went to a fun wedding here. The game room was truly the big hit of the night - bowling, hoops, etc
I photographed a recent wedding at The Filter Club for the first time. I was really impressed by this venue. It was a perfect downtown location for a micro wedding. They have two wedding spaces and I was working in the smaller space that opens up out to a deck. It was very private and the views and open air feeling of this spot was just perfect for an intimate event. I was impressed by the modern art work decorating the wall by local artist. There were many interesting spaces and natural light to photograph in and my artistic eye was on overload! There were outdoor spaces too around the club that I found photographed well all within a 1 block radius. The staff was super helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend for a small event or wedding. I am hoping to work there again soon!
Stunning place in an alluring secret location with outstanding staff that are knowledgeable and pleasant. The members are equally pleasant. Philly desperately needs a lounge upgrade and this venue is worth the membership.
This place looks like it's in a amazing spot to work out and socialize with other business people during the day.
Nice venue, was there for a friend's wedding. Bowling lanes + bar was an unexpected surprise.
We recently photographed our first wedding at The Fitler Club and it was such an incredible venue. The location can't be topped and it's urban, modern aesthetic was a joy to photograph. The staff at Fitler Club was so attentive to the needs of our mutual client and our team was overhearing how impressed all of the wedding guests were with the staff. Since we were working, we didn't sample the food but it definitely looked delicious at cocktail hour and during dinner at the reception. We are definitely excited to come back to The Fitler Club again in the coming wedding season!
I never experienced more disrespectful treatment towards paying customers from staff! They treat you like they are doing you a favour for bring members at Fitler Club. I often see too much negativity, arrogance and two faced attitude. Especially from this person Bree. Not sure how this person is still at her position, she clearly is very unhappy all the time. Besides the staff’s unfriendly behaviour, ton of other issues such as parking, beat up roads around the club, not enough service at kids club and many more.
