I’ve been working out at FF for a few years now, and I could not love the gym or the staff more! Everyday I am greeted with a smile & shown I’m truly appreciated as a client. I train with D’Rae 3 days a week & he is the best, he is so knowledgeable & really takes the time to perfect his craft! The staff has been so professional throughout COVID & made me feel super comfortable. FF is a true 10/10!

Great place to work out! Friendly staff and ample equipment. If non-chain experiences are your thing, this is the spot for you. The day pass option is great for my partner and I when we visit friends in PGH.

Great gym environment with great equipment. Could use more emphasis in dumbbells. They were in two separate spots in the gym with different # weights in each spot. I love the old school nostalgic feel of bodybuilding history spread throughout.

Fitness Factory is hands down the best gym in the Pittsburgh area. The atmosphere in the gym is electric, and hard work is encouraged. With a mix of old school and modern equipment, the gym appeals to all forms of fitness, for all fitness enthusiasts. Ownership and staff are great people, welcoming, and always professional. If you’re looking for a gym in the Pittsburgh area, this is the spot.

This place is like no other. The reason why I am actually starting to like Pittsburgh in general. It’s truly a different experience when you walk in. The music sets the tone, and the environment is fantastic. I heard about this place through a friend and I am so happy I came here. The Fitness Factory has an old school vibe with motivational photos on the wall and beautiful artwork throughout the gym including a sculpture! They follow all CDC guidelines and take wearing masks and cleanliness at the top priority for the safety of all of us. They also have phenomenal trainers who I have had the honor of being with. Fran gets you going with her blast of energy she carries with her. D’Rae takes the time to explain to you why you workout the way you do to better understand fitness as a whole. Making you more.wise! I love the most that everyone there has the upmost respect for one another. This is the gym that was a hidden treasure in the heart of Pittsburgh that I am so grateful to have found. Time and money well spent to come here, well worth everything!

I have been a member of Fitness Factory for 5 years. I LOVE my gym. This is not a place to be seen. It is a place to work out and get stronger and get healthy. Everyone there is so nice. The staff is great. The other members are always willing to help if you don't know how to use a piece of equipment. It never feels like a competition. Everyone is there to help. The equipment is new and maintained in excellent condition. There is something for everyone. Lots of cardio options. Lots of different machines to isolate and concentrate on different muscles. A separate room filled with lots of free weights. Fitness Factory has something for everyone. If you're trying to be healthier, this is the place for you. I started there when I was 52. I wish I had started when I was 22. Hope to see you there.

Any age group and person looking for a workout this is the place to go in the Pittsburgh area! Powerlifting, bodybuilding, or just looking for a solid place to workout they have it all! And they are very professional and have the cleanest facility I have ever been to, you can’t beat it! Love Fitness Factory!

Great gym with lots of great equipment in a small but useable space. The locker room leaves a little to be desired but it's sufficient. It has great demographic and fitness spread, out of shape to ripped, senior citizens to 19 year olds. It's the best neighborhood gym I've ever seen, in six states I've lived or worked in. And the pricing is reasonable, no crazy discounts with contracts.no high pressure sales.

I've been a member of Fitness Factory for the last two years and LOVE this gym. Sure it may not be bright and shiny like some big box gyms out there, but it has all of the equipment you need to get in a great workout. The employees are friendly and responsive and I love coming in every morning with the 5am crew. Best gym in the burgh, hands down!

This is a terrific gym. They are extremely accommodating, which I really value. There was a misunderstanding regarding my membership, and the gym staff was so considerate and extended my membership without any additional cost. It's probably the most reasonable and accessible gym in the Shadyside area. Would definitely recommend.

It is a great neighborhood gym! The other members are very respectful of the space and time of others. If you like to go to the gym for the community, there are tons of friendly faces. If you are more interested in a time-efficient workout with minimal distraction, everyone is equally as respectful of that. I typically go during peak hours (weekdays after work), and even then I haven't had any problems getting on any of the machines or benches I needed to have a quick workout.

Great gym, one of the classics alongside Apollon, Bev Francis, etc. Easy to come in with a day pass and then get “the world’s best shake” afterwards.

Fitness Factory is an experience, not just a gym. As someone that used to work there and that is now a member, I can appreciate it from all angles. Being in the fitness industry for decades has given me an understanding of what makes a gym special and that comes from the top down. This gym is taken care of, and therefore, so are each of the members. If you want a top notch experience where you feel at home, give this place a try. Oh, and its super neat inside!

Fitness Factory is a great location for all types of gym-goers. They have pretty much every machine you will ever need, however the free weight selection is nothing to scoff at. The atmosphere is awesome and there really are no gym egos that are so common at other gyms. The staff is so friendly and just such an awesome bonus. I would really recommend this gym to all of my friends.

The fitness factory is a great lifting environment with EXTREMELY friendly and great staff. Lots of different machines and equipment to keep your workouts mixed up.

Awesome gym. Great range of equipment and diversity of people. Everyone at home: ripped varsity athletes and beginners, but everyone serious about getting fitter. If you’re looking to strut in your new Lulu Lemons, look elsewhere.

Love it here! My husband and I have been members for about 6 months and have been super pleased with our experiences. This was my first time joining a gym, and I was super nervous about what to expect. I love the atmosphere here, everyone is really friendly, and I never feel judged (which was always my fear about gyms). The 24 hr membership is great, and there never seems to be a wait time for any of the equipment. The space is super clean and everything is always in working order.

I've been going to this gym for almost exactly a year at this point and I absolutely love it! The staff are super friendly and engaging and the facilities and equipment are always clean. The space is smaller than other gyms I've been to but Fitness Factory has everything you might need and almost never feels crowded even during peak hours.

I go here because they have alot of equipment for more detailed workouts and its super clean. Shout out to Mike, Arnold and Samir they take care of me there
