The construction at the Chambersburg location is causing issues with the maintenance department. Worst service I received since buying my vehicle in 2018. Hope this can be corrected.

No hassle experience! Got what was very reasonable for my trade. The salesman, Vince, was very professional and knowledgeable. I wouldn’t hesitate to deal with Fitzgerald again.

Great service. This is my second time buying from here and both were the best dealer experience I have had. I felt no pressure and the staff were flexible and gave me options within their ability.

Yesterday was different and I understand. I was very confused of where to go. I feel like when the appointment was made I should of been told about where to take it. The reception area for waiting was very nice and the staff were friendly and amazing.

I’ve taken my cars to Fitzgerald Chambersburg Pa for routine maintenance for years. They’ve always been great. This last time 11/18/23 not so much. Took 5hrs to get my oil change and tire rotation. I called 2x to get a status and was unable to speak with anyone. Finally went back in person to be told it just be a few minutes. Few minutes was another 40. The front staff was friendly but 5hrs for an oil change and tire rotation is a bit ridiculous! I’m hoping this was a one time occurrence or I will be forced to take my vehicle elsewhere for maintenance in the future.

The manager needs to not add his two cents when a car sales transaction is being made! Mind your business. You need not to add NOTHING to peoples order if it wasn't asked Now you made your sales girl loose a whole car sale. Big' Big' Big' Mistake!

I liked the checklist from the mechanic advising me that the two front tires needed to be replaced soon and that you followed up on the replacement floor mats that were available within two days.

They were very transparent with the details of my repairs, the cost, and the time line. The have lots of links to show progress of vehicle and text messaging to your direct agent. Offered a loaner vehicle while repairs were ensueing. Great service overall.

Below, you can find the original review. My issue today is with service over sales. They won't allow me to get a loaner vehicle despite my paying for the loaner program (insert name here) because I'm just getting an oil change and tire rotation. The experience here keeps getting worse and worse.

To add to the original review below, I have gotten some more background on the vehicle and found that the service department diagnosed a "rumbling noise at 40 MPH" as needing a new transmission back on 12/31/2020 and I bought the vehicle used on 03/05/2022 (story below). After the original review, the GM reached out to me and asked what could be done for me to recant or edit my review. After some tough negotiating, she was willing to give me a 50/50 split on the price of replacing the transmission because "you have to take some accountability. After all, you were able to put 20k miles on it. " Attached to my review, you will see the proof of the diagnosis. DO NOT COME HERE TO BUY A VEHICLE WITHOUT GETTING SERVICE RECORDS YOURSELF. I also recommend taking your potential new car to your own mechanic.

"Way overdue edit: (Fitzgerald Fixeruppers Chambersburg) Chris Smith was our sales agent. He was really professional, but he is the epitome of your stereotypical salesman. He pushed us into a car because we stopped in on a Sunday, and "the banks all close soon. " he showed us the car fax and the shop report of the vehicle. But when he went to his sales manager to get the pricing, he took the shop report with him, which mentioned the transmission problems that he failed to bring to our attention. We had a price limit, and he pushed us into a 2011 Toyota Rav4 instead of a Jeep Liberty that needed about $3k of work. After the cost of transmission replacement, we paid well over what that Jeep would have cost us. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES WASTE YOUR TIME HERE unless you're a mechanic and are willing to buy a fixerupper. "

I love my new used 2020 rav4! As far as Fitzgerald dealership goes, I give them a very low rating. I took delivery of my rav4 and was excited. Got home to show my husband and he noticed it has three different non name brand tires on it! All of which are china brand from amazon! I asked if they could at least get a set of matching tires on it and they said no. They said the tires match the inspection requirement so they’re fine! I am very upset with them! I spent 26,000 dollars on a vehicle and they can’t put $400 bucks worth of tires on it? Never again will I step into Fitzgerald automall in chambersburg!

Computer system was down, I suggested she hand write work order. Advised her that I had oil and filter in car for them to use. When I picked up car was quoted outrageous bill. They hadn't used my oil and filter but they fixed the bill and removed my supplies from my car

To future buyers.
I purchased my vehicle in may. The vehicle had a chipped windshield that Fitzgerald Toyota was aware of, Hunter was the sales rep who handled the transaction and assured me that the windshield would be repaired. In June the windshield was repaired, and in September the windshield cracked in the same spot. I informed Fitzgerald Toyota that the windshield repair failed and was in need of further repair. Fitzgerald then informed me that their obligation was fulfilled and they had no responsibility to repair the windshield.

Unfortunately this was not the end of this story. In August I had my oil changed, and the Tech told me that the rotors and break pads would need to be replaced before my next oil change.

I would advise any future buyers to be cautious conducting business with Fitzgerald Toyota of Chambersburg, they are dishonest with their customers. Rather than fixing the issues the right way they took shortcuts. My Grandfather, and cousin purchased vehicles from this location and we will no longer be choosing Fitzgerald Toyota of Chambersburg. I’m am very disappointed with my experience. In the future I will certainly invest some money in a 3rd party inspection to insure I am receiving the product I was sold.

Purchased 2023 Toyota Tacoma Trd Pro.wasn’t ready so delivered to my house. I saw decoration on hood.sent pictures to salesman. He told me sales manager would contact me. She did not.i finally tracked her down. She told me called me. I have cell phone that was not truth. She told me bring truck in Monday morning around 9 to have buffed out.i arrived 920. She wasn’t in and service manager wasn’t either.i talked to lane supervisor he said service guy said they can’t buff it out they already tried. So service lane supervisor asked body shop next store for estimate they said 1000 plus price of decal to paint hood.i explained that painting hood would hurt value of new truck. He agreed I said i’d rather be compensated for cost paint. He acted like wouldn’t be problem. I asked to speak with general manager. He called them in front of me. They refused to speak to me.i said wow they’re refusing to speak to me. He apologized said he was sorry. I then asked him call salem manager who also refused to speak to me. I told him that was horrible customer service and showed no integrity to me as managers.service manager also apologized for then refusing to talk to me.i’ve bought over 30 toyota since 98 and this was my first from fitzgerald and will be last. It’s important to have managers with integrity. They do! Not.lack honesty and just won’t communicate.i’ve bought near 30 from younger zero issues and darcar with way better experience.the process buying was slow and pretty sure it’s because they were trying to fix hood.they thought drop off and i not notice. Just very bad customer service. Worst Toyota dealership i’ve ever dealt with in my life by far.

Logan was an excellent salesman. His no pressure approach allowed us to make the decision that was best for us. We were comfortable with him from the first hello! We will definitely return for future needs and recommend Logan to anyone we talk to who may be looking for a vehicle.

I bought new Tacoma Trd Pro. Dealership under construction so vehicles are very dirty.i purchased truck. It wasn’t ready so it was delivered to my house.i text salesperson right after dropped off sent pictures of hood. He told me a manager would call me. But they didn’t. I finally tracked managarr down. She told me bring in truck in and have it buffed out on monday around 9. She wasn’t in, service manager wasn’t in.i waited till after 10 till the service manager was in. I was Told by service they already tried to buff the truck. They said wouldn’t buff out. This tells me they knew about it.i asked to have service advisor call General manager in front of me. GM refused to come talk to me.i then asked to have him call sales manager.same result. I said that’s rediculious they won’t even talk to me. He said i’m sorry. Then i asked to be reimbursed for cost of painting hood which they told me be 1000 bucks.plus decal on hood. I was told that shouldn’t be a problem. When asked to do that basically told they wouldn’t give me the money. Again the Managers running the dealership and Sales were deceptive and not willing to talk to me.i have cell.the Manager that didn’t call me back.i kept calling in till tracked down.told me she callled me.if cell phone was called there would be record on incoming calls. My opinion is dealership is not honest or trust worthy.i’d strongly suggest another toyota dealership.i’ve never been so disappointed in toyota dealership.
