Nice friendly service from the owner. Recommend the catfish sandwich. It was delicious and more than I expected.

Amazing place. The drinks, the food, the staff all of it. Got the sliders and fried mac and cheese for appetizers. The pork roll benedict that comes on corn bread and the fried chicken sandwhich. Large portion sizes with no sacrifice to flavor. Every bite brings on the comfort you look for in country food. Staff was top notch and they accomidated my dog and baby with ease.

9/24/22 had lunch with my two children and Andre was our server. The food was excellent. I had the pork sliders. My son had the hot chicken sandwich and my daughter the eggs Benedict. All are highly recommended.

8/28/22 had lunch with a friend and we shared a beef brisket poutine. It was delicious! The fries were crisp, the gravy was flavorful and the beef was so very tender. Justin, our server, was very helpful in helping me with a drink order. Look forward to a return visit.

Recently had brunch with a friend and we were able to sit inside. I had the chicken and waffles and it was delicious. Looking forward to trying more dishes from Flannel. Updated 5/21

Flannel has made a few changes from Chaya, but their food is still very good. The sausage gravy is awesome and they serve breakfast all day. This was my review for Chaya.
I have eaten here a few times and it is a nice, relaxed cafe with food that is very good. There is usually very pretty art that is displayed and can be purchased. Our waitress, today, Ashley is so nice. The menu is varied from omelets to wraps to burgers and waffles. Their sausage gravy is really good. There is also a coffee/tea bar. Recently had breakfast with my son, and I have to say it was really good. Our server, McKenzie, was so nice and our food was delicious and filling. The burger was cooked to perfection and tasty and my bacon, spinach, mushroom omelet was delicious! The multigrain bread is one of my favorites.

I wish I had gotten a photo of our food, but this restaurant was so so good. My friend and I stumbled on it one day looking for breakfast sandwiches. It was so good that the next day we brought 2 more friends for brunch. The food is great, every staff member we interacted with was so friendly. We loved our experiences here!

Food was great, seemed oddly priced but maybe that is just me.like why was a cold brew marked at $3.40 lol.

Also we were very rushed. We were asked by the wait staff if we were done and ready to go, when most of us (excluding me because I had just finished a marathon and was starving, so I ate fast) That left a metaphorically bad taste in our mouths after that. They also never asked to refill the "house coffee unlimited" once, so we paid $3.64 for a cup of drip coffee and rushed service. All together we spent $227.84

The mimosas were good, the grits were great, the food was fast.

The hot chicken is the best! We go here all the time and most importantly we love Amy. She is the best waitress. She remembered us after 2 times. Also the matcha latte is shockingly delicious and worth getting warm. She recommended to me and now I always get it.

One of the best breakfast places I’ve ever been to. It has a cute and comfortable atmosphere. The service there was excellent, never had such a nice server before. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich is the biggest and juiciest chicken sandwich there is. The hangover scramble was hands down the best breakfast meal I have ever gotten, highly recommend.

After getting (amazing) takeout from Flannel once, my husband and I decided to eat in for dinner. Excellent decision!

I had the BBQ St. Louis Cut Ribs (picture included), and my husband had the Last Fried Chicken Platter. Very large portion sizes - we had lunch for the next day - and maximum flavor/taste:)

Also appreciated that their beers were all local.

We were there on a Saturday night, and there was live music. It added positively to the vibes of the night.

Love seeing their success on the Ave, and will certainly return!

Service was top notch and the food was at an even higher level. The menu offered a little something for about anyone. Familiar foods served hot and fresh with a bit of signature style.
Staff was attentive and professional, yet not over bearing. We were made to feel as if we were family not patrons.
Live entertainment that totally gift wrapped this gem of an establishment.
Highly recommended.
I'd give that group 6 stars if possible.
Can't wait til my next visit.

Great brunch and dinner offerings. I also love the vibes and decor here. The outdoor area is perfect for warm summer nights while listening to live music. The indoor area is rustic and cozy. Entrees come in big portions! Perfect to share between two people. Solid choice if you’re in East Passyunk.

Picked this restaurant to eat dinner because of the high reviews.

I ordered the Country Poutine and Flannel Burger with a side salad. All of it was very average tasting, especially the burger and salad. There just wasn't much flavor from the beef and the salad was simply three strawberries and a little dressing on some greens. I was expecting a delicious, flavorful meal but didn't receive anything close to that. I am thinking maybe I ordered the wrong things or they are known for their brunch foods?

The waiter was friendly and accommodating and liked the relaxed atmosphere. Would only come back to try the brunch.

Was able to come during restaurant week and enjoyed the experience. Great portion sizes for the more than fair price of 30 a person. The poutine was by far my favorite portion of the meal. Great gravy! But everything we had was delicious including the drinks.

Food was incredible. Super friendly staff and a cozy environment to match. There’s this cool little enclosed picnic table in between grass walls and lights overtop that would make for a perfect date night. 100% coming back here.

Great southern food! Very friendly staff.lively atmosphere. They have live bands performing during Friday evenings. It could get a little loud but would definitely recommend it if you enjoy good music with the food.

**Had friends from out of town and made reservations. Too bad they didn't get to experience the place.
Rude to have reservations and allow others to sit at the table all night, offer us to sit outside? It's 20
degrees. Went across the street and spent our money there. **

Burger was straight up rubber, pulled pork sliders were obviously microwaved and tasted like tuna fish - how do you SUBTRACT flavor from pork? Obviously no one who cooks here has been to Canada, the poutine mixture/ratio was like someone read how to do it online without looking at the pictures. Beer was literally room temp and served in a nasty plastic cup. Small plate prices and portions yet big plate flavors. Very sad food.

Fantastic! By far the best restaurant experience I’ve had post Co-Vid. The fried chicken is spectacular and I recommend it. The grits was creamy and delicious…definitely going to get that again. Mac and cheese is AWESOME, it has lots of flavor due to multiple cheeses and great texture. My wife had the snapper and it was cooked perfectly, fresh and had a great salsa with it. The service was very friendly but not overbearing and annoying. I really recommend a visit.
