F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts reviews
13Always a great experience, the staff is always accommodating, comfortable seating, just a great venue.
Really good place for a concert. We sat in the mezzanine and it was very good. Didn't take any pics.
Always a great time at the Kirby Center.
Great Venue to catch a show! Just went to see Brit Floyd and Stevie Vai's Inviolate Tour.
Both great shows. But Vai blew me away.
Just an all around master. Please keep him on your list of entertainment in the future and I'll always be in one of those seats hopefully up close like the 3rd row this time.
Just an insane show! Best show I've seen are the Stevie Vai shows. He's a MUST to have at your Venue. Waiting on Eric Johnson or a Hellecaters reunion! I'll be first in line. THANKS for the great entertainment in a classy venue. Always Recomended by me!
Amazing theater.
2 problems
1 the bar would benefit from a hard menu (the cocktails aren't specific, so they'll make any you want.)
2 more community outreach
Great small venue with a very intimate interaction with the performers! Larry Fleet was an amazing experience!
Recently saw Ann Wilson preform. The sound is great, always clean and there are no bad seats.
Super comfortable seating and the absolute BEST ACOUSTICS in Pennsylvania! Better than the Met, Tower or Mauch Chunk! And they are all great venues too! The ACOUSTICS are so good you can even sit off axis on the left or right center and have the best soundstage period! And having Ann Wilson and company playing in superb fashion was an extra treat! Dont miss any show you might think you want to see! It WILL be great at the KIRBY!
Loved the bartender downstairs. He made our night with his awesome personality! We had a great time seeing Fortune Feimster, she was worth the two hour drive!
The Beatles tribute band show, "1964", was excellent! Great view of the stage, comfortable seats with drink holders, a variety of drinks, popcorn and several movie theater candy choices, beautiful surroundings, helpful ushers and other workers.all meshed to make an exceptional experience!
As a native of Wilkes Barre old enough to remember great times I had at the Paramount theater, it's birthright name, before S. T. O. P, Albert Boscov & Fred Kirby saved, preserved, revitalized and renamed that historical landmark, The Kirby Center for the Performing Arts where I've had more great times & memories seated for live performances and this May, as The Kirby Center, hosted Geisenger Commonwealth School of Medicine's graduate Class of 2023, I was back savoring the greatest time I'll remember there forever; watching my son accept the reward, honor & title: Dr. Michael H. G.
And I'm grateful that the F M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts. You are the greatest host on earth!
We went for the Kirbyfest fundraiser.
It offered goods from wineries, distilleries, breweries, and a coffeehouse, as well as a few restaurants.
Some musicians donated their time and talents.
We had an enjoyable evening!
Another great old venue for music.staffing always seems overwhelmed though. 20 to 30 minute waits for beverages most of the time.
My kids really enjoy the educational plays they have attended so far. Very clean and pretty theater.
