Food 101, Gettysburg PA

The food.amazing. The service.even better! BUT the parking situation is terrible. Had to circle the block trying to find parking close by because Food 101 doesn't have parking. If you can get delivery, maybe that's the best option.

Don't judge a book by it's cover. This tiny little restaurant has amazing fresh food with kind and attentive servers and staff. FYI you can also BYOB. If you are in Gettysburg, you need to eat here!

I have eaten here in the past. My daughter and grandson love the pizza and I love the powerhouse veggie sandwich. As a vegan it would be nice if you could offer non dairy cheeses. I could then try the pizza myself. I suggest at least another one or two vegan options. Thanks, keep up the great work!

Have limited parking.
The food wasn’t great, not bad but not great.
My wife has a gluten allergy, reviews said they were good about accommodating that dietary restriction. They were not.
They did not have any gluten free rolls/ buns (the serve said they ran out, which does happen). But the only side she could get was fresh cut fruit. Turns out it was grapes. In the middle of PA in the summer the only fresh fruit you have are grapes?
She had an ok burger. Something she would expect to get from a Wendy’s fast food place.
I had a pork chop. It had little taste, it came with squash and sun dried tomatoes with chipotle seasoning. The tomatoes tasted like tomato paste I would buy at the store. The squash was good. The pork was what I would make at home on the grill.
Again the good was ok. Not bad but not worth the nearly 100 bill we got.

Food was phenomenal! Fresh and delicious! Fresh cut fries! Flatbread was to die for! Staff was attentive and nice!

Went here for their reputation on find me gluten free as someone with celiac disease. I got their signature burger on a gluten free bun and a side of grapes (the only gluten free side). The burger was absolutely amazing! The place itself is very cute but very small on the inside. The service was awesome and I appreciated them being so honest about what would/would not be cross contaminated as being contaminated can ruin my entire trip so I truly do appreciate it. They do have outside seating but we went at the worst time of day because the sun was beaming on us and the umbrellas unfortunately did not help to shade where we were going to sit. The only thing I can hope for the future of this restaurant is that they add more safe gluten free options to their menu. This would've been my go to the whole time we were in gettsyburg had they had a few more options that were safe for me.

Great service and great appetizers. Brussel sprout roast and cauliflower. Truffe fries fantistic!

My significant other and I went here because we were in the area. The food was absolutely excellent and tasted fresh. It was during a busy time of day, so it was a bit of a wait to be seated and receive our food, and our waitress seemed overwhelmed. The portions were respectable. I would recommend this place if you have time to sit and enjoy a meal and during a less busy time of day, because the atmosphere and food was worth the wait.

Great food. Came back for a second round with the whole family for my wife's birthday dinner. Great food for everyone. Plant Based options. Great. Jenna was outstanding.

Loved the strawberry and fennel salad. I added tuna. Girlfriend had the turkey apple panini. I'd recommend eating here while in downtown Gettysburg.

We stopped there quick after our daughters college volleyball event at host Gettysburg College. Wonderful experience of food. Everything was delicious. Nice extra flair of food. Would definitely eat there again and highly recommend.

Food was good. Attentive waiter with gorgeous light blue eyes ;)

Food 101 has taken the guesswork out of plant based dining by offering an exclusive Vegan Menu!
I had a good overall impression. Staff was friendly. Vegetable Powerhouse sandwich was delicious and my BF salad portion was adequate. Loved the hot tea selection. The only drawback was the French fries. They were crispy, oily and had a stale taste.

Great sandwiches and a nice place to eat. The waitress was great also, no complaints at all.

Great vegetarian options. Best in town. Salad was fabulous. Parm fries excellent. Cauliflower was good. Mac and cheese is very rich. Definitely recommend

Food was very good but pricey because portions were quite small - no bread or anything like that to compliment the meal. Very noisy.

Vegetable Pizza was great! Place is very small and they do not take reservations so keep that in mind.
