Fort Washington Veterinary Hospital reviews
14The staff is the best we've encountered in decades of owning pets. We are newly local, but even if we moved a distance away, we'd still use Fort Washington Veterinary Hospital.
This is my regular vet. My Doberman is very anxious at the vet, but they make both him and me feel very comfortable. They don’t give him when things are a little challenging, but try every approach to get through the medical visit without scarring my dog. Because of that, he has improved so much when attending his annual visits.
Came recommended on FB page-made an apt week in advance to become new client. They call to confirm day before-get there for 11 am apt. Waited in their parking lot for 45 minutes-5 other cars/pets came and went. I call-no idea how much longer…. Complete disrespect for your time. Never even went in but sat in their parking lot wasting my time.
My 4yr old Havanese had his annual physical. He needs a dental cleaning. Dr. Theodore explained the procedure thoroughly. She also gave our dog shots and drew blood without him crying or wiggling. We have been going to the practice for over 23 years.
They were wonderful & very accommodating when it came to caring for our cat after a tail injury. Everyone we interact with at the office was very nice, answered all of our questions and returned multiple calls. They were also very accommodating in scheduling appointments that would fit our schedule.
Simply the best. They take their time and treat each pet as a loving member of your family. I am a foster home for several rescues. The doctors and Vet Techs give these dogs time and confidence before examining. They are the best!
Ft. Washington Veterinary Hospital is absolutely the best in Pet Health Care. My Pomeranian loves it here! The Doctor Truly Care about their patients and are very thorough and thoughtful. They are also very accommodating in their schedule. I Highly recommend.
Absolutely wonderful staff here, they were kind and respectful to my cat who was nervous and made the whole experience wonderful for both her and I. If I could give them more stars than 5, I would, any good pet owner would be lucky to have these ladies taking care of their beastie
Fort Washington Veterinarians are consistently outstanding in diagnosing and treating difficult, non-obvious medical issues with our dog, Zoey. Last week, Dr. Theodore provided a thorough examination of Zoey for older dog mobility issues, and offered a new treatment of injections for an arthritis condition. So far, this treatment has been nothing short of amazing. Years ago, Dr. Orscher diagnosed an inactive thyroid problem, that several other veterinarians had failed to diagnose. As a result, this great team of veterinarians have given Zoey many years of healthy life, and have given our family a trusted resource for care.
Slow on returning phone calls (3weeks) but great vets! Waiting to hear back on another acupuncture appointment
We are so grateful to be in their care! All of the staff are professional, helpful and caring. Dr. Berman is one in a million!
Even for her surgical follow-up, my dog was excited to return. We both know they not only take care of us, they care about us!
Ive gone to Ft. Washington Vet for many years and have been so thrilled with the treatment my dogs have received. I find them professional and kind. I wouldnt go any other place.
Had an excellent visit with one of the vets we had not met before, Dr. Esplin. She was fabulous- informative, helpful, affirming, thorough and exacting. I look forward to more visits with any of the vets at Fort Washington. Of course we have been going to this Veterinarian practice for 40 years and have been delighted all along. Add compassionate to the list of the qualities of all of the vets.
It’s taken me a while to even process the horror I went through in this hospital. Long story short, my dog died after a dental cleaning at this hospital. My family dog, who we’ve raised since she was a puppy and was now 12 years old, is now gone.
I took my five dogs to this vet for a check up and dental cleaning. They all came up healthy after the check-up, so it was okay to proceed with a dental cleaning. After the procedure, my eldest dog was paralyzed from the waist down and in pain. She also had trouble breathing through her nose. When confronting the hospital about this, I was told that perhaps some sort of movement was too abrupt and could have injured her spine. I was also told they had missed that she was in no condition to be under anesthesia, because she had a nose obstruction prior to it and they had missed it in the preliminary scans.
I cannot begin to express the pain my family has felt after this event, after countless nights of my dog’s seizures and having to make the decision to end her suffering. No one admitted their fault, no one took responsibility. She was one of the first to be attended here, and I have never brought my other dogs back.
