I advise anyone looking for a gateway to not stay here.
1. My family and I stayed in a cabin. They told us not to bring any kind of linens because they would supple them. Well we walked into the cabin and there was one fitted sheet on one of the beds. Then one of the workers brought one comforter down and nothing else. I called to talk to the manager (Nance) about the situation and asked for more linens because it was my brother, dad, and I so 1 fitted sheet and 1 comforter is not enough and she said “I can’t help you, ” then proceeded to hang up on me. I walked down to the store to ask for the linens and was greeted with attitude and a shirtless man.
2. If you’re looking for a place with hospitality or kind people this is not the place for you. The workers here are rude and lazy. When staying at this campground you are the worker rather then them. These ADULTS were clearly raised wrong and have absolutely no work ethic. These people are a prime example of disgrace within society.
This campground preaches about being KOA certified, but do not follow the mission statement nor any of the guidelines stated by KOA. I will be getting ahold of KOA directors to report this campground.
Four Seasons KOA at Raystown is the best camp site we have ever visited, anywhere in the country. The owners are friendly and helpful, and keep the place clean and quiet at all times. The pool, restroom, and laundry facilities make every part of the stay fun and easy. And if You forget and leave something at home, the general store at the location has almost everything you can imagine, all at very low prices. We often buy some of our food there when we visit, because it is the same or less than at our local grocery store. Add to this that You are less than 15 minutes from the lake and hiking, and You have the PERFECT place to stay.
Nice quiet campground. Very friendly staff. Make sure to bring a fire stick, satellite dish or other WiFi streaming device since cable is not available here
This place is the most absolutely beautiful campsite I have ever stayed at. The owners and staff were so pleasant! We will be coming back!
