Fox Barn at Twenty9, Malvern PA

We celebrated my parents' 25th anniversary here with about 100 people. It was really beautiful, with wonderful decor, ambience, and the food was great as well. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. We had also worked with Patty Archi before and her help with planning and setting everything up is amazing. Highly recommend this place for private parties.

My daughter had her wedding reception there this past weekend. It was fabulous. Starting a year ago My wife and daughter began methodically looking for a venue in nj de or pa. Wanting a relaxed feel to the evening ballrooms we’re quickly nixed. Knowing that they wanted to add some personal touches to the reception they were looking for a place that would allow them to have some flexibility. Patty (the owner) an dBrittany (the coordinator) worked with them through the whole process. We had 150 people and with that number you might worry the food would be difficult to be consistently good. KUDOS to the chef and kitchen staff -we had a large number of people rave about the herb roasted chicken and the prime rib especially! (Had a few dietary restrictions that got stir fry - they loved it. Felt like they weren’t afterthoughts because it was soooo good)
They rented the farmhouse (built 1770’s) adjacent to the barn for the night before the reception. The house is incredible. The whole wedding party stayed together. We made some great memories there and shared some old ones. The morning of, the bridal group had their hair and makeup done in the bridal suite with champagne and the guys relaxed and played cornhole before the reception started. The best part of the farmhouse were the incredible photo opportunities throughout the house. Stunning place. We give it a five because of the atmosphere, the flexibility the food and the price was reasonable for everything you get. Lots of options to choose from within the price per head. Dj Oleg from Shaffer Sound needs a shout out too! Kept the party going! If your reading this and are looking for a venue I highly recommend you take the time to see Fox Barn 29. Can’t imagine we could have been happier.

We had a small family party here a few weeks ago and we were really disappointed. The place was trashed from a party the night before, bar wasn’t stocked properly, and no one communicated our wishes to those executing the party. Despite multiple emails to the owner I only received one reply offering a gift certificate. For the price, we were ripped off. I can’t imagine if this was someone’s wedding. The whole point is for someone to take the stress off hosting a big party from your plate, not to make it worse. If they are unable to handle the volume of events there (and have each be a priority) then they shouldn’t book them.

The staff seemed very friendly. The grounds were well kept, and the food/bar areas were attractive.

Rented the space in the pub with outdoor patio for my sister's 50th. Very good food and top notch service.

What a pleasant experience meeting Brittany to tour the venue. I look forward to working with her to plan my future daughter in laws bridal shower at your beautiful venue. I'm very excited

Web have a weekly networking meeting there. It is always clean and neat. The staff is so accommodating.

Wedding Venue Review: This venue is absolutely stunning and you get so much bang for your buck! Their package includes beautiful chairs, chargers, linens, and so many other small details the venue provided like floating candle vases, etc. We utilized the farmhouse to host our rehearsal the night before and also to get ready in which was so awesome! Patty was kind enough to provide and assist with setting up linens, tables, flatware, etc for our rehearsal even tho we were making our own food and it was in no way something that was included in our package. And then for the wedding we only booked the top floor of the venue for about 100 guests. It was beautiful for our day and the team put in so much care. Literally the owner was serving dinner plates on the wedding day and they accommodated us in so many ways that I’m not sure other vendors would have (example: I had a sick relative back out the week of the wedding and the venue actually reimbursed us)! The food was amazing and my guests raved about the venue! I truly could go on and on! Book them!

Attended a wedding here. Very good venue. Large with several service areas. It made it easy to get away from the loud music.

Attended a beautiful wedding here. Everything was great. Only very minor issues. Need more bar tenders and look out for missing utensils.

The food quality was not worth the price. Several in our party ordered the meat tray and left over half of it on the tray. Chicken sandwich was decent. Best part of the meal were the egg roll appetizers.

Chose this place from Main Line Restaurant Week to celebrate wife's Birthday. Arrived at the Restaurant only to be told they had no Restaurant Week Menu because they "did not have the stuff to make those meals". Was seated at a table that had not been wiped down (crumbs everywhere) Food was substandard. I have had better pulled pork sandwich's at chain restaurants. Pity. The outside of the place is beautiful and luxurious looking. They need a better menu.

Very unenjoyable experience. We sat on the lower deck. Waiter came over, took our drink order and then our order. He said the food would be up in 5-10 minutes. Forty minutes later and still no food, and no waiter. I went to find him and he was milling about, doing nothing. Never checked on us, never apologized or explained why service was so bad. I asked him to check again with the kitchen. He came back and said 5-10 minutes again. With that, we got up and left. Doubt if I will ever go back there.
