I spent one day here as a contract CNA. I arrived 20 minutes early so that I could get to know the floor a little, but as soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by a nurse who was not intrested in showing me anything except where to hang my bag. The other CNA was running around the corner with a blood pressure pole.handed it to me and told me to get all the vitals which I dont mind, but I was still not punched into my shift and knew absolutely nothing about the floor. After I finally insisted on some kind of assignment. It was given to me and off I went to figure everything out on my own. The other CNA was very nice, but there were only two of us working the floor so we were basically on our own. The respiratory therapist must of been having a bad day because she stopped me twice in my eight hours there to let me know how hard her job was and how so and so wasnt her responsibility. The nurses are nice, but do not and will not stop to lift a finger to help. At the end of my shift an unknown employee (not sure of her position) completely went off on me in a really bizarre way and honestly to this day, I dont know what that was about. WACKO! It's no wonder they work so short. I feel sorry for the residents.

No COVID-19 in any residents to date. An amazing feat, especially considering all the residents there on ventilators!

My father spent his last weeks in this life at Fox Subacute. They cared for him as if he were family, and cared for his family as if we were theirs, too.

Bluntly, my father is.was.a trying patient. He'd pluck at lines, disconnect sensors, and was a particularly testing combination of petulant and mischievous. The staff at Fox Subacute took it all in stride and with aplomb. Whatever came, they stood up and handled it.

When my father's life faded and came to an end, still the staff showed their love and care. And it was clear that they DID love my father. They embraced us all with the same love and care, and bent over backwards to make sure his final hours were gentle and peaceful.

I bless the Fox Subacute care for their tender, professional, and loving care of my father and of all of those who love him.

I was very impressed with the staff and programs offered a Fox Subacute. I felt comfortable as I was given as much time as I needed to ask questions to understand how the process and programs work.

I am pretty conversant with healthcare, and these folks are really good. They explained things to us, they explained things to my dad even if it was a day where he wasn't very responsive and it seemed like he might not hear them. They were consistently kind, thoughtful, careful, respectful, and very professional. The staff haven't hardened up the way I have seen at other places, take their jobs very seriously, and take the idea of caring very seriously. They took extremely good care of my dad, and also were caring and supportive (while maintaining high professional standards) with my stepmom. (I heard they're under new management)

I’ve been working there sporadically for year and half. I always come back. Yes, it’s hard work, as a patient care technician. It’s challenging; but the employees care, are dedicated and do all that they can for their patients. The nurses are incredibly knowledgeable and easy to understand. I’m always learning and FOX inspires me to further my education in nursing. Excellence in my opinion

FANTASTIC experience. My family member was cared for here and I don’t know that I could say enough good things. With almost 15 years in the medical/caregiving field, at Mayo Clinic and other facilities, I am always skeptical and discerning when observing a loved one’s placement. I was very pleasantly surprised. Not only did I find everything to be clean and organized, but the staff was outstanding. They treated my family with the utmost respect and kindness. They were careful, gentle, and expert in the handling of our loved one. Great medical care but also careful consideration with a “whole person” approach to patient care. They were emotional right along with us on a difficult day, exhibiting they were personally invested and dedicated to their work. They worked hard to give their best & it showed. It helped me feel confident and positive about having someone I loved there, and I feel nothing but gratitude for our experience with them. To the staff involved, you know who you are - Thank You. ️
