Great piece of golf history. Small greens and well maintained. Worthy of a pilgrimage; you can’t be a student of golf history without playing this course once in your life. While the course plays just over 5200 yards, the par fours are generally stout at nearly 400 yards, often with a dog leg approach to a small green. Feels like a Donald Ross course.

Certainly a course in transition. It has improved from last year and the future plans now in place are promising. If you like quaint Foxburgh is for you. From the course setting to the homey clubhouse you'll enjoy every minute. And there's no friendlier staff anywhere. Oh, and check out their unique museum. It's free.

Three cheers for Dawn! We recently held our ACV class reunion at the country club. With her guidance, the entire experience was wonderful. It was hard to get her picture; she was working many posts to make our evening go smoothly. It did. Thanks again, Dawn!

History lives here! The course is relatively short but the greens tend to be on the small side making it a bit more challenging. They have put a lot of work into the course this year and conditions are improving. I'm looking forward to the major improvements that are in the works for the next few years. It deserves four stars and I hope it gets there some day.
