Horrible company to rent from. They do not care about the health and safety of their tenants. I have put in multiple requests for heat and other issues and they never respond. I moved here 6 months ago and never imagined a rental agency could act like this. Obviously I will not renew my lease.
Please don't rent from these people. Very sad.

Called multiple times for a service request. Apartment has broken toilet and broken kitchen sink. Each time you call, the voice mail says you reached them "after hours". No matter how many messages you leave them, no one bothers to call you back. How is this legal?

It's great if you never ever want to hear from your property manager, but that also extends to maintenance issues that persist for months on end. Every florescent light in the hallways have been blown for months. Washing Machine hasn't worked since December and has stagnant disgusting water in it. Health and safety hazards that must be illegal and will soon be addressed with the city. Maintenance requests go unanswered, even when you call within business hours the phone line says you've called "out of hours". Trained squirrels could do a better job than these people. When my toilet ran constantly it was addressed immediately because they need to pay for water. Obviously, if it hurts their income it'll be taken care of immediately. But, the health and safety of their tenants is an afterthought.

If you like to be left alone this is the property manager for you.
But if things go wrong they are also not responsive. I have had multiple water issues here, and they don't respond to tenant maintenance requests. A pipe burst and it flooded the basement and my ceiling which took them over a week to fix. That was just one of the numerous issues with this property manager. Sadly my desire to not move again out ranks the issues with this place for now.

If you take the time to read any review, please let it be this one. The short version is this: Do not rent from these people under any circumstance. Here's why: My boyfriend and I moved into their Mt. Airy location because we liked the area and rent was fair. We moved in around July and things quickly began to fall apart. The main issue here is maintenance. Several power outlets were not working in the apartment. I put in several maintenance requests to no avail. They eventually fixed them after I called and informed them I discovered they have several violations with the city and don't have a license to rent. That's right! They were not legally allowed to charge rent to tenants due to their violations. Anyway. They never cut the grass, the washing machine never worked and the laundry room in the basement flooded every time it rained. The final straw however is the fact that the whole building IS RODENT INFESTED. We lived here a total of 6 months. During that time, I called several times and sent countless emails that mice were running through our apartment, eating at our couch and pooping on our kitchen counters. I've attached the photos. Elaine, Donna and Joe are some of the most unprofessional, rude people to work with. It took my boyfriend and I going into the office and asking to get out of our lease for them to send an exterminator out. Elaine had said the exterminator was on a monthly plan to come to the building, the exterminator told me he was told to stop coming. We mutually agreed to terminate the lease, even though they broke the lease by not responding to maintenance request, but we were still charged an early termination fee. The fee was conveniently the same price as our security deposit we never got back. This company is a scam. If you are reading these reviews to see if you should apply for an apartment with them, then please listen to us and do not. The nice reviews are probably written by Joe or Elaine in their spare time of ignoring phone calls from tenants.

Horrible experience that literally made me physically ill by the end of it. When I moved in it was clear that nothing had been cleaned or painted and the entire apartment smelled like smoke and the walls were stained yellow. I told them it made me physically ill to be in the apartment and that I have a disability and Elaine at the front desk told me, "If you have a medical condition don't move here! " When I then asked for my deposit back before moving in, they said no so I stayed and things only got worse from there. Absolutely horrible and they are very rude and unorganized. They had pest problems, basement flooding, mold, mice, roaches, snakes, and no one shoveled in the winter and my mom and I fell twice outside because of it. Do not rent from them.
