Frankford Hall reviews
10 McDonald’s is a better place to eat than this place.the people working there are rude. I ordered 2 different beers and the bartender give me 2 of the same ones after complaining about it she gave me an attitude and the size of the food is not worth the money,
The amount of salt they put in their burgers is obscene and it ruined the burger.
The Goulash its like 6oz salty soup with two pieces meet.for $17. I will never go there again.
Had a pretty brutal experience here this past weekend. Hostess was incredibly rude and constantly gave us attitude when we asked for clarification on their COVID-19 rules. Bartender was rude to my girlfriend when she asked for guidance on which beer to order.
The amount of pepper they put in their burgers is obscene and it ruined the burger.
Finally, when we were ready to leave we were standing, masks ON, waiting for a member of our party to get back from the bathroom. A hostess came over and once again got an attitude with us telling us to “disperse” because we were “too close”.
Spend your money elsewhere. These people are rude and act like the COVID police.
It was great place before, super easy. Now this place sucks, price are skyhigh.dont order gulash because you will pay 17 dollars for 200ml of salty soup.better dont go there at all.
Awesome food, helpful staff members, always fantastic atmosphere. They charge convenient rates and the food quality is good. Fantastic work.
As a health care professional (who by the way received both COVID vaccines) I respect the rules and guideline. But can someone tell me the difference between cloth mask and a scarf over the face? We have been turned away for wearing a scarf over the face while people wearing bandanas for a mask were totally welcome. I just have nothing to say.
Pretty typical beer hall. Special in Philly only because it is one of a kind. 100% always a good time. Drinking liters of beer out of a giant stein is a sure thing. Good beer variety and decent options for non-beer drinkers. Picnic tables and umbrellas outside for good weather days. A fun place to spend a Saturday afternoon in the fall.
Really relaxing place to hang out and drink beer with friends. They have fun activities like foosball and ping pong. I also love their beer cocktails. I would strongly recommend it
Great neighborhood beer garden - fantastic food and atmosphere. Very kid friendly, as well. This is the spot you go to for some casual dining (German food) and a few pints with a group of any size. Games for tables, ping pong, foosball, and outdoor fire pits create the perfect experience. I’ve brought big groups and attended events here - I’ve always had fun and was never disappointed. My four-year-olds agree!
The pretzel was over cooked and the raw onion taste in the beer sauce was unbearable. The beer was cold and the schnitzel was alright. Cool environment.
Good beer, but food is overpriced. We had one German sausage and the portion was small for the price we paid. That said, you can spend time here playing the free games and enjoy a beer garden atmosphere. Some of the air conditioning ducts had moisture collected on them and it was dripping over our table. That can be improved.
