Frankie's World reviews
8I have witness via phone when my Goddaughter is being dropped off and picked up the ignorance of the nurse Maryann. My Goddaughter has been through so much fighting for her life and by the grace of God she is still here. Her mother is a fulltime working single mother who depends on this daycare to give the best of care while she works. It breaks my heart to see someone who works in the medical field to be so disrespectful and unprofessional. As a nurse myself it is our duty to provide excellent care to our clients and give the upmost respect. We must also respect our clients family members/primary caretakers. Maryann needs to take the time and reevaluate her ethics and morals. A lot of families depend on this medical daycare and they shouldn't be mistreated. My advice to Maryann if your heart is not in it then find another profession.
This is the best medical daycare in Philadelphia. My baby went here for 2 and half years and we don't have any complaints. The stuff is amazing from the manager to the caregivers to the teachers. I'm a nursing student but because of them I didn't have studying problem in nursing school. Thank you frankie's world.
I have been a supporter of Frankie's World for many years and have visited many times. Each time I visit I am overjoyed to see children, who might otherwise be at home alone with a nurse, playing and learning here with other children in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. Everyone on the staff is dedicated to the wellbeing of every child, aware of and attentive to each of their individual needs - physical, mental and emotional. You get a warm feeling as soon as you walk through the door and that feeling is confirmed within a few minutes of observation as you realize that the children are engaged, smiling and trying new things. Not just surviving but thriving.
Frankie's World is a great environment for any child with a medical disability to learn and grow. I have been employed here since August 2018 and love the bond I share with the children and their families. I look forward to seeing their faces every day!
This school is awesome! They take awesome care of my child and the teachers have beautiful personalities, and are so knowledgeable! I would recommend to anyone with a child that has any type of special needs, from big to small.
Horrible place to work and/or advance. The administrative team gossips about everyone and treats the kids like a check. The admin team talks trash about the parents and the children. This is not a good place to send your sick child. They drive all of their good employees away just so they can hire family and friends. They're always working out of ratio and when the state comes they try to put the children in their right classes so they wont get a fine. Today I was fired because I was asked to orientate and do an eval for the "DON's" friend. I put a negative comment which was true so the "DON" lied and said I was being disrespectful. To make a long story short if you care anything about your sick child find them somewhere safer. Most of the staff are too busy on their phones to pay the kids any mind. And there is no help or support from the admin team or corporate. I was there for a year and a half and there has been a turn over rate of over 100 employees. You do the math. And by the way this review was deleted from their Facebook page.
Horrible administration, huge turn over rate with staffing, unprofessional, lack of respect and appreciation, gossipy, I can really go on and on.
What an awesome place for families to know that their children will be taken care of by qualified staff members. This is such a pleasant atmosphere. It is warm and welcoming. I have nothing but great things to say about Frankie's world. I just love seeing the smiles on children's faces and watching the staff interact as if it's one big happy family. For any parent who has a child with special medical needs they can be assured that Frankie's World will always have their child best interest at heart.
