Freedom Farms Farmers Market reviews
17I love this place! I am genuinely addicted to the extra hot pepper mustard! It has some heat but it also has some sweet and a great flavor! I bought their chicken salad today and it is the best I have ever eaten in my life. Big pieces of chicken, dressing was very good but not overwhelming or too sweet, and lots of crunchy veggies. Delicious! You could literally spend at least an hour looking at all of the amazing food in their store. And all of the employees are so kind and very helpful. I will be a customer for life!
Wonderful little store with an integrated restaurant and bar. Hands down one of the best vegan sandwiches I’ve ever had!
My favorite spot to stop when in the area! Fresh produce and bread, frozen meats and pies & tons of jarred and bottled items. Not to mention the tomato pie/dip is amazing! Only tried one item from the hot foods but I can confirm the vegetarian sandwich is delicious! Can't wait to come by again!
Unfortunately, The Christmas festival is a dud, we were sad there wasn’t more for the kids to do, it was mostly a craft fair, and some snacks but not much that engages the kids.
This was our first time and we had a blast! The food was great and it was such a family oriented event which I loved! They had a coffee vendor there too and it was perfectly delicious!
Excellent experience eavh and every time! Fresh food is farm to table making everything they serve taste fresh and amazing! The beer there is an awesome accompaniment to the food. They also have a wide variety of meats veggies and canned goods from the market as well. So no matter where your from I highly recommend that this is a place you plan to stop at in the near future.
LUNCHING OUT THIS FINE FRIDAY. WE SAMPLED THE TOMATO BASIL FLATBREAD, STADIUM FRIES AND THE PULLED PORK SAMMICH, WITHOUT THE COLESLAW, RECOMMENDED BY DYLANN! WE WILL BE BACK.
Great place for appetizers and sandwiches! Great seating area out back! Unfortunately I didn’t take pictures but we will definitely be back.
I had never eaten there since the sandwich shop was merged into the market. Good sandwiches, great fries, and nice selection of adult beverages from local breweries and distillaries.
This isn't just a terrific family run farmers market with the freshest most delicious veggies, fruits, ferments, and meats. Its also got the best salads and sandwiches in the region and a new north country fresh beer and spirits bar. They have new indoor and outdoor seating. We ate in a greenhouse listening to live acoustic guitar surrounded by growing tomatoes. Unbeatable food and atmosphere.
Hidden Gem! Try the freshly cooked foods. Also large collection of homemade style sauces and condiments. Still checking out all they have. Will be back!
Very nice selection of jarred vegetables, fresh vegetables, frozen meats, pies, potato salad, pasta salad, and REAL honey products. My newest favorite food item is their Shredded Hot Peppers in a jar. Excellent on a sandwich and on scrambled eggs for breakfast! Easy heat that won't overwhelm your meal and taste FRESHLY MADE! Plentiful parking, easy in and easy out to route 8. Very pleasant staff eager to help you find whatever you're looking for. I highly recommend a visit and I will be back for more! Please see my photos of my purchase and breakfast!
I cannot believe the amount of people writing reviews based on mask wearing. Lock yourself inside your basement with Joe and don't come out. Nobody cares stop crying. Freedom farms is a great place and they do great things.
Small selection of fresh meats, fruits, produces and dairy. Limited parking, looking forward to the new taproom for North country brewing opening soon
So disappointing. We drove 30 minutes to enjoy the farmer’s market and pick out an Easter ham. Upon arrival, I did think the half-dead flowers for sale outside were not a good sign. Inside, while fresh offerings were somewhat sparse, the real shock was that the two employees were not wearing masks. The woman behind the register lied telling us masks were not required “up here. ” Of course, masks are required under a statewide mandate but even if they weren’t, why would you put your customers’ health and lives at risk? I cannot wrap my mind around the owners who care enough to raise chemical-free free range pigs, yet have complete disregard for my life and yours.
No one was wearing a mask not even the employee. Very inconsiderate and disrespectful to anyone who comes in. Will be the last time anyone from my family or myself will ever go there. Will be reporting this to the proper agency today!
Their premade foods are delicious. They even expanded, their foods to cover people that suffer from Gluten Free Foods. The GF soups and dishes are great. Homemade everything. It's all as tasty as the you used to make when you wanted to show off to FAMILY. Yes! Tell your Family you made it. All you have to do is turn the jar lid and, place it in your expensive bowl. When you go to Freedom Farms you can brag to your Family, that you made it from scratch.
