French Creek Disc Golf reviews
8If you like challenging but fair fairways. And Rocky uneven terrain with elevation, Then you love this course don't be scared to spot in your group it might pay off especially if it's fall
It was very fun! The road to the first tee is closed so you need to park a distance from the first term.
Keep it on the fairway!
Especially during the summer, as it's important to throw a conservative shot rather than losing a favorite disc in the overgrown foliage.
Did not play disc golf. But I did hike the trail. Well marked. Always good being out in nature.
Super fun and well-maintained course. Offers a standard "silver" course for intermediate golfers and a challenging "gold" course for those more experienced.
I call this my home course. Aside from its natural woodland beauty, it is very well taken care of by the dead dogs disc golf club. In my opinion it is the hardest course in PA if you play the gold basket layout.and it can give any course anywhere a run for that title. If you can play well here you can play well anywhere.
There are 18 very nice tee pads, and each hole has two baskets, the easier silver.and gold. If you shoot par it is a 1000 rated round. And tk my knowledge, the official course record is -4. Pros don't come out here very much because they have to beat the locals.and we have a big advantage in that sense. They would rather not risk hurting their ratings lol.
If you are a beginner, this course is still fun. Just lower your expectations and laugh at the hilarity of nature punishing your shots and pounding your scores way above par.
This course involves some difficult hiking and I would not recommend it for young children, the elderly, or physically limited individuals.
Amazing park and pretty cool wooded Disc. Doesn't have crazy variety but definitely will fill your woods fix
