Frontier Park reviews
18LOVE this park. Great all year round. Got a good playground and big metal slides to play on in the warmer months and then in the winter, it has the best hills for sledding in the area
Great little park for a brisk walk with your dog! Clean and just so full of a variety of trees and plants. Just stunning in the fall!
Excellent park for children of all ages. Loved the double swing where an adult can swing with their toddler.
So sad that after spending over 1 million dollars to put the slides in, they shut them down.
Really bummed that the slides are not working but I can sort of see it as a safety issue. Beautiful, calming and perfect for a walk among nature in the city.
Such a beautiful park. I especially love the labyrinth because it feels so peaceful. The little creek and bridges are beautiful and I love the slides! Beautiful backdrop for photos.
Who doesn't love frontier park?
Its beautifully maintained and has the best sledding hills in the city during winter.
A really nice place for a walk with nice trails, benches, tennis, music stage, kids playground, parking lot. I took a walk there with my Woman twice this past week. I'm a snowbird and she still works in Florida. She took numerous pictures. We felt really comfortable there, amongst the nature We built some lasting memories there.
The BIG slides are the coolest thing I’ve ever seen in years! In a world of ultra padded playgrounds to avoid lawsuits, having a feature that encourages risk taking and courage is paramount to the growth and development of children. They are so cool and the kids love them. I hope that parents don’t make a fuss and try and get them removed for safety concerns. You hardly ever see cool features on playgrounds anymore like big slides or monkey bars due to the fear of lawsuits. Thx frontier for the amazing beautiful park. Always a treat.
Frontier is a great place for a walk or bike, I went to a school field trip there that was really fun!
Beautiful park with a nice playground + extra metal slides and plenty of shade. Walkable to local businesses.
Amazing free park that is the venue for many free events in the area. Large fields, mile paved loop, playground, tennis courts.
Wheelchair accesible, curb cuts, porta potty’s, walling /hiking/ hiking trails, playground, multiple swings with toddler swings, sand pits, multiple tennis courts lighted, arboretum child/ adult long steel slides, dog walking, streams, bridges, did not detect Wi-Fi. It’s a beautiful quiet space that feels more back to nature then most being just on the west side, lots of places to look and ponder in natural setting. There are multiple locations with electrical outlet’s if you need to charge your device, plenty of dedicated / memorial bench seating to rest, people were friendly met some wonderful K 9 and owners, seems like a safe wholesome environment for families or just a solo day stroll, lots of signage on trees and plants
This is one of Eries treasures! It has just about everything for fun, health, and nature lovers! It's used year round. They have made it even better by adding four big slides! The park is beautiful in every season.
Children loved the slides! Very lovely walk and well maintained paths. We all enjoyed searching for the many labeled kinds of trees.
Nice large playground with new big fast slides! Trails to walk with creek access. Soccer field. Tennis courts. Great all around!
It is a very nice park, nice playground area. I love the trail. Except the slide or stairs to go down on. The trail is beautiful to see. Nice place to go fishing. It was crowded with kids though which made staying and letting the kids play hard
It's was a great little park for kids and adults. I really enjoyed the slides. The swings need a bit of fixing, but my wife, my kids 2 and 7 currently, my pop in law 70, my bro in law, and myself all had a great time!
