Collectibles Store GameStop reviews
5 The husband and I had errands to run and this was one of our stops. We just got over Covid so we made sure to wear masks and keep our distance so we can still be safe, we were not greeted & given rude looks by Danielle who then took it upon herself to make us feel like we were a walking death sentence just breathing. She proceeded to start shaking and saying her aunt could die if she gets Covid & she has PTSD.we were apparently causing her anxiety being in the store.
We have NEVER been treated so disrespectfully.
We were just there to sell our old cell phone and she couldn’t even process the transaction properly because of her own behavior.
Took my Xbox s in today kody! Was more than nice she had mentioned deals that’s saved me money she made my day thank you kody! (:
This is simply a personal opinion of mine, but I do not enjoy going into this location when the female employees are working. They seem bothered by business and not knowledgeable at all. It is very uncomfortable to shop at this location. The male staff is knowledgeable and engaging, you really feel like you’re interacting with passionate members of the gaming community. The female staff makes me feel pressured to leave the store and stupid for asking for their help/opinions. If you don’t have the personality for retail, then don’t go into retail.
I would have given one star but we were greeted by and offered assistance by all 3 very bored employees. Unfortunately the oldest (and old enough to know better) employee was on a phone call on speaker the whole time we were there. Very distracting, annoying and TMI the love life of what I assumed was another employee.
Side note I think it's sad that Game Stop has lost so much business when they used to be the place to go for everything. I think perhaps in phasing out all the older games and systems they allowed a whole new market to take over (Retro game stores)
