Gamut Theatre Group reviews
12Fantastic reworking of an old church into a cozy theater space and bar. Saw “Thistle and Salt” this weekend and immensely enjoyed this thinking person’s show of two, one-act plays by Irish realist, J. M. Synge.
Gamut Theater Group always delivers a phenomenal show. We especially like their Improv nights. So much laughter! It's good for the soul!
Wonderful theater space! The staff super sweet and inviting as well. I'll be back for sure
I don’t miss many of the theatre’s productions. The performances are very good and entertaining. The popcorn players and the kids performances are wonderful! Great for the community and great for all. - Janet
I was VERY impressed with the covid mitigation efforts. LOVED the production of Alice in Wonderland. The staff was SUPER friendly and the facilities were clean. What more could you ask for?
Cute little Theatre converted from a Church downtown in Harrisburg right across from the Capitol building. Amazingly arranged, very intimate, and incredibly fun and often hilarious productions. They also have great themed drinks in the bar downstairs.
Went and saw thumbelina today and the show was great! Highly recommend going and watching a show! Super fun and interactive
Fantastic productions in a perfect environment - classical, Shakespeare, and offbeat quirky ones too. An absolute gem in central PA
Edited for pandemic-times: Gamut continues to impress with safety protocols that adhere to guidelines and common sense. They continue to promote a sense community and genuine respect for every individual. Thank you!

Exceptional quality shows for adults and kids. Wonderful kids' educational classes. Top notch in everything they do.
I have a long, glowing history with Gamut Theatre, but their response to COVID-19 in particular deserves specific praise. The act of being in a theatre for a live performance is healing, and since March, it's felt like something we lost indefinitely. Gamut's thoughtful, thorough, and safe re-opening plan has made live, in-person theatre an option again.
Full disclosure: I'll be appearing in a show at Gamut this season, and it is their clear and complete safety protocols for actors AND audience which made me comfortable enough to make that decision in the first place. Now, having been an audience member myself, I am just as confident in their plan! Live theatre at Gamut has been added to my list of COVID-friendly activities.
Gamut's first live production since the beginning of the pandemic was fantastic! They also followed strict protocols designed to keep the audience and actors safe, and I felt comfortable being there.
