Nice staff but useless appointment. Complete waste of time. I was told that they could diagnose my phone, specifically stating they could tell me if it was a hardware, software or screen issue. Cool. Make an appointment because they were booked that day and the next. Get to appointment. They are running behind 30 minutes. Get my turn and am told by the guy that almost every phone passes the diagnostics test and that he really couldn’t tell me what was wrong with my phone. He said I could go to apple for more diagnostics. He “guessed” it was a software or screen issue but didn’t know.

Helpful.

Not.

Friendly and knowledable but I paid approx one thousand dollars for a home security system and installation.
And despite this people continue to come into my property while i am away and take things.
Police know and do not care so i thought this was worth the investiment unfortunately insiders in the company sell mechanisms to freeze the system and people are still stealing from my property.

Today on 11/14/2018 I entered my private parking area with a Geek squad truck in my private sparking space. I attempted to locate the individuals but could not locate them. I attempted to set my car alarm off to get their attention. They did not respond after 2-3 minutes and not wanting to cause a disruption I stopped my car alarm and parked directly behind them (having no where to park in a private parking lot). The gentleman then exited the premises which they were working and began verbally assaulting me. The fat man who was driving the truck with the horrible grooming standards and smelled like cigarettess was the one who verbally assaulted me and threatened violence to move my vehicle after I asked him if he saw the 16x16 NO TRESSPASSING PRIVATE PARKING SIGN directly next to my parking spot. The indivual responded with "What did I insult your ego"? I insist this individual be reprimanded for his actions. A person like this shouldnt have a job. Date of incident 11/14/2018 Time was around 12: 00 Truck Number was 27071. I will never shop with any company affiliated with GEEK SQUAD and will be contacting Fox43 and WGAL to report this incident. I also have this incident recorded on cell phone video. I want this situation dealt with swiftly and professionally, as no person deserves to be treated the way I was. This is how geek squad treats people and veterans WHEN THEY PARK IN YOUR PRIVATE PARKING SPOT. The second individual or witness in the van did not speak or disrespect me in any manner. It was the overweight bearded man with glasses who smelled like cheap cigarettes and had horrible grooming standards (YOU ENTER PEOPLES HOUSES CLEAN YOURSELF UP).

I was a witness to an incident on 11/14/2018 where one of Geek Squads employees parked in a private parking space (posted with a 16x16) NO TRESPASSING and PRIVATE PROPERTY sign. I witnessed the Geek squad employee park there regardless. I then witnessed the owner of this parking spot return home and attempt to locate the person who parked there. The area is very strict on parking so the home owner parked directly behind the geek squad van and honked his horn to attempt to gain attention of the employee. The employee refused to come outside until he was finished so the homeowner was already inside when he exited the building he was working on. I witnessed the home owner simply ask if the employee noticed the private property no tresspassing sign and the employee immediately began berating the home owner stating "what did I hurt your ego since I didn't come outside when you honked? " The homeowner simply asked for the employees name which he refused to give to the homeowner 3 separate times stating "I don't have to give you that" and then in an aggressive and threatening tone the geek squad employee yelled move your truck now stepped towards the homeowner. This is the worst behavior I've ever witnessed from anyone acting on behalf of best buy, geek squad or any professional business. The date this happened was 11/14/2018 and it was truck number 27071. I know the homeowner personally, and the geek squad employee is lucky the homeowner is a veteran and not on active status or that geek squad employee would have his face rearranged.

I ask that all who read this review, veteran or not, refuse to shop at best buy or use geek squad from now on due to this individuals behavior. This was also recorded on video and will be given to the local news outlets to ensure this isn't forgotten about, and that the employee doesn't get a chance to do this to another individual in our community. Thank you
