Gem is fantastic. Roger helped answer my questions and was greatly helpful with sharing his knowledge with me. Good service like that is hard to come by these days!

Traditional ceramic supply store, Gem Molds purchased a number of the Atlantic Molds including the classic A64 Ceramic Christmas Tree mold when Atlantic Molds retired So the classics are still available. And Roger at Gem will even ship the molds if you need.

Not just molds! What an awesome hidden "gem". They have lots of glazes, clays and plenty of other ceramic supplies. It is so ironic that we lived in Denver for so long and we were buying our clay supplies in Baltimore. One day we wandered into this place, and we discoverd a gold mine! It is not well publicized or advertised, but they have great prices, and really friendly service. They do not have a huge staff, so if you don't see any one at the front desk, just call their number and someone should be with you shortly. They really are very helpful, and willing to order stuff that they do not carry. It is family run locally. Buy local and help them out!

We began using Gem Ceramics about three years ago when my flower shop began making our own containers. The owner is helpful, pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive to each client's needs. We love going in there and seeing all the beautiful projects in the store! Cannot say how efficient and helpful the owner has been or how easy he has made our transition into ceramic craft class fun!

If you love ceramics and crafts, you will love this. They are a family run shop with glass melting and fusing, ceramics, pottery, molds, glazes, paints, and brushes, greenware, and bisque.there are more but you must go there and see yourself.the prices are very good and if there are molds that people ordered and didnt pick up, you can buy them at a low reduced price. I once bought some bisque from a lot at the store from a woman who was no longer making ceramics and it saved me so much money. He even came to my house to rewire my kiln when the elements burned out.once you go here, you will never wanna go any place else.
