Genesius Theatre reviews
15We had an amazing time here for Cinderella! So much talent and entertainment. Will Gwyneth be back for more of their upcoming shows. I highly recommend this place!
Creaky Old Hangout with Delightful theatre aroma! Parking can be a challenge with THAT SELF APPOINTED TRAFFIC WARDEN I am starting a free jitney ride to and from theater Gratuities Gratefully Gathered. Let's Get This Show on the Road ️️️
I have visited this Theater many times, I love small theaters and wherever you sit you can see, very talented actors, just saw Cinderella yesterday was so beautiful and the decor beautiful the amazing beautiful band I had a great relaxing time, cant wait to go again, m.ight even go see Cinderella again, thank you Larry and the whole cast greatly done great talent ty?
This theater is perfect! Not very big, not too many people, they did a great job on the set production and quick set change when the lights went dark for a bit. The actors/actresses did a phenomenal job, very emphatic, professional, also the lyrics were spot on for the adult-themed Avenue Q. Nailed it.
Very professionally operated community theater. I have never been disappointed with any of their productions in the 13 years that i have been a patron there. I see 3-4 shows a year. Parking is not great but they do the best they can with limited spaces in a city neighborhood.
A wonderful small theater. It has limited seating but an interesting two level stage. They put on great productions and they tend to sell out so get your tickets as soon as you can!
Great small theatre with safe off-street parking available. We saw a wonderful production of Jekyll & Hyde there last week. Such a pleasant experience overall.
It's a small community theater, but a benefit of that is no matter where you sit, you're really close to the stage. You won't miss anything.
I saw an all-kids production of Once Upon a Mattress, a musical retelling of the story of The Princess and the Pea. Let me tell you, those kids had some serious talent! I've seen shows here before and I definitely will again.
We have visited the Genesis theatre 4 times in different occasions and is never a disappointment! Great atmosphere! You should visit!
The 100 yr old building is very tiny inside. The rows of seats are extremely close. As someone 5'3", my knees came about 2 inches from touching the seat in front of me. It would be extremely uncomfortable for a taller person to sit there. It also is located in a rough part of town with limited parking and many people milling around on the street openly drinking alcohol.
Not Enough stars to explain how great Genesius Theatre was! Excellent, excellent.singing, dancing, acting, musicians, scenery.and a wonderful young man parking cars. Beautiful remodeling inside.
Bright Star was fantastic. All did a terrific job. EmilyRhinehart a gorgeous, strong voice. 5stars
This place is awesome every musical and play that I ever been to in that theater was great
Great performances, priced right. Even the cosession stand prices are reasonable. There is also a wine bar that I understand is good.
This is a great little theatre. It's old. It's not plush or beautiful. But it has character and community.
