12The receptionist was very rude didn't know how to communicate with me or my wife she knew she was in the wrong but continue to b rude who wants someone like her working for their hotel
I stayed here back in November 2022, the lobby smelled like cigarettes, my room had dirty towels in it, my sheets on the bed smelled really bad. The only two good things I can say about the historic Genetti hotel is that the staff was very friendly, comforting and the prices are decent. I would not recommend staying here though.
We have stayed at the Genetti in years past and have enjoyed it very much. The history with this place is wonderful, and the beauty of it is just as awesome! We love that some of the toilets are unique. I really can say enough about the staff! They are all great at what they do there at the Genetti. My husband and I would prefer a place like the Genetti over any of the other hotels to stay in. Thank you for all you do for your guests. Especially when there is a small oder in the Hotel. You went above and beyond to make sure all your guests were safe. As well as your hotel too. I can't say enough! You're the best! Thanks again!
The bathroom and tub are very small. Usually not a major issue, but the tub was difficult to maneuver and extremely slippery. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, heating and air units worked. Pet friendly. Check in was easy and courteous. The staff worked with me and all were incredibly friendly. Restaurant food was good. Steak was cooked to order and cooked correctly, bit pricey, but tasted good. Breakfast was a good spread and plates were warmed. Would recommend staying again. A lot of breweries within walking distance.
Probably the most positive experience I've ever had at a hotel. Charming, well kept, quaint and beautiful - staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, Ron in particular:) breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Thanks guys
We booked our wedding and stayed at the Genetti Hotel in Williamsport last weekend. Everything went smoothly and we couldn't ask for more personalized care. The rooms, the wedding venue, food drinks, parking, photos, memories were all above and beyond. Special thanks to Stephanie and Ken for organizing and preparions, Kathy for putting together a great team, and extra special thanks to Francis and Jennie for their hard work and attention to detail. Francis is the BEST! Btw, it was Jennie's first day as a bartender and she did great! We are so happy! We'd give 20 stars if we could!
They are always welcoming. Great service. The hotel has so much history. Beautiful old place.
I felt like I was staying in a European hotel. The rooms are small, but well cared for. The hotel is in within walking distance to restaurants, a movie theater and there's a brewery across the street. The architecture is fabulous.
Lovely hotel and great old fashioned charm. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant and had a great waitress Jackie. Breakfast was very nice and everyone was welcoming and helpful.
Would recommend to anyone visiting Williamsport.
The room we got for the weekend was very spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was great! Lots of food for both days. The restaurant in the hotel has wonderful food. The only thing I would say is the beds are a little uncomfortable but otherwise this is a great place to stay. I love the history of the hotel. We live in Northumberland and just get a room for a weekend here and there because we just love the hotel.
Nice blast from the past. 100 year Hotel with updates for the digital age.
Each floor has a mail drop so get some post cards. Kids will love sending their friends a card the old fashion way.
Love the look and feel of a historic hotel, (rich in history) and a great breakfast is included.parking included and walking distance to some great restaurants, department store as well as a grocery store.
