Genetti Hotel & Suites reviews
7Went to the Genetti Hotel for an event - indoor mini golf hosted by the Williamsport Rotary Club. A very nice facility for events like this or perhaps class reunion or weddings.
Interesting hotel in the very old Sill of the 40-50s. The lobby is large and beautifully designed. The breakfast and bar area is also inviting. The rooms have a special charm, but are very small due to their history. The bathroom in particular offers hardly any space and hardly any counter space at the sink. Nevertheless, the hotel is recommended in this area.
The staff is friendly and helpful and that always makes for a good stay. The rooms were clean and the breakfast food in the restaurant was delicious.
We needed a little get away and this was perfect after other travel plans fell apart. We splurged a little and went for a room with a king bed and the jacuzzi tub. We were blown away when we came into the room we didn't expect it to actually be 2 rooms. A nice little "living room" with a microwave and fridge and the through another door was the bedroom and jacuzzi and the bathroom in another separate room (which wasn't unexpected) but it has a neat feel too. Love the history and wonderful note on the bed. It hit me in a way that I would have never expected a note in a hotel to hit me. It felt like it was written just for me. And I feel like my stay indeed will be blessed! Oh and the little rubber ducky on the tub how cute! We stayed here in one of the standard rooms for our 10th anniversary I believe we absolutely will be back!
The Genetti is a grand old hotel with lots of charm. Every employee we encountered was super nice, helpful and accommodating. A real bonus was the complimentary hot and cold breakfast bar.
We started staying here in the mid 1990s.
Step into the past! Wow. A great place to stay if you're into grand, historic places. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are ok, comfy bed. Great location for work trips for me.
The only thing I'd like to see soon is a lighting upgrade, some lamps out and/or ugly compact fluorescents.
