I just left and I feel like I have just been robbed. When I arrived Danielle asked if I had any maximum limits on my policy. I advised I’m unaware of any Maximum limits. Later when she returned my cards to me she stated no payment due today but I was charged.for the protective equipment the staff wears apparently? Interesting. Also after finding out there was no maximum limits on my policy I was advised I needed to see a specialist. Hmm I began to analyze my own xrays and was told nevermind. I scheduled a cleaning for today, took time out of my own office. And was told no cleanings on first visit I must reschedule. I was specifically told to allot approximately an hour for cleaning hence why I scheduled that time out of my office. I dont like feeling robbed, cheated & very highly possibly discriminated against. I called back and asked whyyy I never received a receipt for today. Detailing exactly what I paid for. I expressed my feelings of concern and that I scheduled a cleaning spent less than 30 minutes getting nothing but an excessive amount of x-rays. And was then told schedule AGAIN if you want us to clean your teeth. I scheduled this cleaning IN JANUARY! They asked I come back again tomorrow at 10am “i can be seen because of a cancellation”
I advised I WORK, I need to check my schedule for the following week. I was then told “If you need to come back next week we cannot see you then you will have to wait UNTIL MAY. ”? ! MAKE IT MAKE SENSE! YOU CHARGED ME FOR A SERVICE WHEN IT WASNT RENDERED! THIS IS SOME TYPE OF FRAUD IM
CERTAIN OF IT. Why expose a person twice in the age of Covid? Danielle was not kind she yelled and she was rude extremely rude. Customer service is imperative. Ethical business practices at a dental office come into question. I’m extremely alarmed at what transpired today to me and wonder if this is the case with numerous individuals who look like myself and schedule (attempt to schedule) work at this practice. This dentist mentioned nothing was wrong with my teeth, yes I’m aware; but why would you want to send me to a specialist for a basic procedure? And when I looked deeper into my own films why then back track? Why ask as soon as I walk into the door “IS THERE A POLICY MAXIMUM ON MY DENTAL POLICY? ” I should have run at that moment. Who schedules multiple visits to a dentist just for a cleaning? I will continue to investigate the business practices, my request for my receipt was denied and told if I wanted a receipt come back for one. I advised I would please like to have it emailed. My receipt has numerous miscellaneous charges on it. I will be escalating my concerns. This isnt right. These are discriminatory practices and behaviors; & what happened to me today here is illegal and unethical.

I had a tooth break and Gentle Dentle got me in ASAP and fixed my tooth. No one likes going to a dentist but they made it a pain free experience. AAA+

The new female dentist at Gentle Dental is amazing. I have had pain on the right side of my face ever since I had a crown put in over 6 months ago. I was told to wear a mouth guard but it didn’t help much. I went in for my 6 month cleaning and was surprised to see a new dentist. She listened to my problem and shaved off some of that crown. I feel like a new person. I couldn’t thank her enough! Best Christmas present ever!

I recently went and was told that Pa law requires 17 xrays when you are a new pt. THIS is FALSE. The dentist lied about the law and misrepresented the practice. I was told I could not refuse the X-rays. However, I just found out that you can always refuse xrays. I asked for an appliance to be cleaned and the hydentist asked me how to do it. Please do not go to this practice. Know your rights.

As a new patient, my experience was VERY pleasant and everyone treated me like they knew me for years. I was made to feel comfortable and welcome.

This is the first dentist I have gone to that I can actually had a peaceful experience at. I have always been terrified of the dentist but at Gentle Dental, I feel calm as they take excellent care of my smile

My Hygenist, Fern, serves me with gentle care. She brings humanity to the profession and each visit is a pleasure. I'd never want to go anywhere else. 10!

The doctor is always so nice and really takes the time to ensure you are comfortable and you know everything he is going to do. He also answers every question you have and is very reassuring. I’ve never had a good experience with a Dentist before him. He’s AWESOME! ! !

The staff, hygenists and dentist are fabulous here! You rarely have to wait a long time past your scheduled appointment time. They give the utmost care to you and make your feel like you're the most important person in the office. I highly recommend this office.

Everyone from receptionists, hygienist (Fern). She was wonderful and made it a fun experience.also very thorough.and Dr. Amrute always kind, caring and makes sure you are ok. Thank you.

My first experience with this practice was with their receptionist. He was so knowledgeable about my situation. I was also having insurance issues and he helped tremendously. My first visit was so easy and pleasurable. The dentist is so friendly as well as the hygienist. I felt very safe and comfortable going through things that are not always pleasant.

Love this dentist office so friendly and always there to answer questions. They make you feel like family and appreciate Fern who is always pleasant when I go in for my cleanings and a joy to talk to. Thanks again for for another great visit!

I had an appointment with Fern, a wonderful hygienist. I made her aware of my bleeding disorder and it was by far the best experience I've had at the dentist. Normally I am nervous to go, but it was really a joy to meet the staff and they took great care of me. Everyone at this office is incredibly nice. I had an issue with my insurance and they were totally amicable, I'm very glad I found this office and will definitely be coming back!

Employees, especially Tara, my mom's dental hygienist, treat us respectfully and communicate very well. She understands my mom has dementia and takes the extra time to come to the waiting room and inform me as well. I highly recommend it here!
