Joey is the best. I'd been searching for someone I can trust for five years and who knows exactly what I need every time I walk through the door, and he's that guy. Entirely thorough, extremely friendly, lowkey sense of humor, etc.etc.etc.and takes so much pride in his work. 10/10 would recommend.

Brought my little boy here with long hair and home cut bangs. Joey made his hair look styled even while keeping it long. They were so kind to us. The people who work here are a great example of philly’s no nonsense kindness and they’re great stylists to boot.

Awesome place with a lot of availability. I booked a haircut on a Saturday the day of. Brandon was awesome and really took his time with my cut and gave me the exact style I wanted. I will definitely be returning.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Gents Barber Lounge. As a female with short hair, it can be hard to find a stylist to who masters both cutting the longer parts of my hair while also having a smooth fade. Joey does an incredible job of both! He understands my hair type and how it fits with the shape of my face. His work is always clean and on point. Additionally, as a female, it can be intimidating to go to a barbershop. But everyone at the shop is extremely warm and welcoming! I would highly recommend Joey and any member of his staff.

Joey is thee BEST barber in Philly! Salute to the other barbers in the shop they are all sharp. You can’t go wrong with any chair you hop in.

What a wonderful place to take my husband and son to get a haircut! The gentleman that we recommend is Mark! He is amazing, talented and friendly! Also I made an error and scheduled under the wrong barber and I reached out to the help desk and they immediately replied and fixed the issue! Also the place is always clean and most importantly positive vibes! Thank you!

Great haircuts. The staff is incredible. Very friendly and courteous. Great spot for kid cuts. The barbers were very patient with my 4 year old nephew who was NOT happy to he getting cut and has sensory sensitivities. It was a collective effort and I couldn't have been more pleased.

I have been here before several times and the experiences have been absolutely superb. I understand that employee turnover may be an uncontrollable factor. However, some careful hiring should take place. I had a terrible experience with Mark who not only gave me a haircut comparable to that of a toddler (cut way more than I asked and then proceeded to cut more from one side relative to the other) but also visibly ignored me when I was explaining what I wanted and was more occupied with other activities while engaging in the haircut. Unprofessional and disrespectful.

I'd get my haircut here all the time if I could. Chose this spot based on word of mouth while visiting and got the best fade I've had in years. Marley is a master with the clippers.

Been here several times. Everyone is super nice. Owner is a great guy. Most of the time get great cuts and fades, sometimes eh, but never horrible. My only gripe is that their staff is always changing, high attrition, so I get cut by someone new almost every time. Rating 5 stars because that might not be the businesses fault.

The hair cut was great. Beard trim was just right. Good music was playing. Chairs were comfy. I booked again for next month.
