George's Kendig Square Restaurant reviews
17Friendly customer service food portion was good they were very accommodating to my huge party
The food was nasty I didn't finish it at all we all got burgers and fries my burger tasted old and weird I noticed it wasn't real beef almost like a soy burger it was dry no grease and u can tell when they cooked it no blood came out, my mom eats her burger bloody and it had no sign of blood it was horrible had like a fish smell and taste the fries were ok but not the best?
Only 1 waitress with long black was doing work. The rest were sitting around and not paying attention to customers or the orders sitting. Just moved to area and will not be coming back here. Took over 30 minutes for appetizer. Then our food wasn't what we asked for. Do not recommend this place at all! Would like to do no star!
Nice sit down diner to get breakfast or lunch. Had a nice hometown feeling. Food was good.
Very reasonable prices. Breakfast is great as always. The bacon is to die for. Lol service was good. The atmosphere was good. I like this lil restaurant. Thank u!
Generic at best.nothing makes this restaurant stand out: ok if you're not expecting much bang for your buck!
Positives: The staff is active and very friendly. Food was warm. Business is always getting customers.
Cons: food was lacking flavor and seemed to be made just so the plates could be filled, syrup has no flavor and seems to be either low in quality or close to out of date. Staff was starting to get a little behind in order management and would not pick the pace up for a comeback as needed.
All in all food was served on time however there is room to approve you got this guys.
Over all not bad. The price is great toward other restaurants near by. Home frys a little greasy but ok. Would return due to price
Limited food choices due to supply issues. Seats torn on both sides of the booth. Prices are very reasonable. Waitress commented the menu has not changed for 5 years. I am sure this restaurant is struggling with thier profit margin since the pandemic has cost record high inflation. It is great to keep prices reasonable but I think this is hurting the buisness at this point. Standard food choices for breakfast however would have preferred lunch at 1030.
Had their special, a chicken salad on a croissant. Just the right amount and the croissant was warm, light and tasty.
The service is friendly but the food is really not that great. The food is mediocre at best.
We been coming here for while, always giving them a chance but they seem to always screw up my boyfriends breakfast. So today will be the last time we go there, some of the waitresses are nice but they really need to get the right cook someone that knows how to make different kind of eggs, and how do you mess up breakfast anyway.
Good food. Good service. We were there at lunch time. They weren't busy at all. Was the place to go at one time
Ordered breakfast, scramble eggs, soft, also eggs over medium, the scramble eggs were well done and dry, the eggs over medium had absolutely no yolk. Cooks need to pay attention to the orders.
Honestly, George's is lancaster county's best kept breakfast secret. It's located in the Kendig square strip mall and has been there for decades. Great coffee, fast service and always has a table available. Good prices too. Make sure to ask for extra crispy hashbrowns!
Food has always been good. Service has been good. Easy to get to. Plenty to choose from. Prices are decent for the huge portion you get.
Overall good food and service. Menu item was slightly misleading. Ordered a pancake sandwich, well it was not a sandwich lol. Had to assemble it.
