Gerrity's Supermarket, Luzerne PA

Absolutely ridiculous that you call this place and they don't pick up the phone, it says they are open now but after 40 minutes of wasting my time calling some ignorant male person that answered the phone said that they're not open till 10: 00 a.m. And hung up on me.

I visited this store the Monday before Thanksgiving, probably not the best time. The store and parking lot we're packed. On the up side the shelves were well stocked & plenty of turkeys for everyone.
The store was also very clean.

Gerrity's is by far my favorite local grocery store. It is very competitive with the big chains when it comes to variety and product availability but it stays close to home on values and customer service. Gerrity's goes above and beyond in choosing great staff. Many people, especially at this location, have been there for decades, and their loyalty to the store and community shows! They are always familiar and friendly with customers and will help you out with anything they can. They've helped me make special orders and get in products that I'd been searching for. And when you ask where something is, they actually guide you there instead of just pointing you in a general direction! The little things like that, especially in combination with the great sales, make this the perfect stop to do weekly shopping! Their deli also makes crazy good sweet sauce pizza, huge hoagies and bunch of other delicious fresh made NEPA favorites.

They sell expired stuff check your dates before you buy every time I go shopping there I find something expired.that’s crazy

Great deals when help is needed always available if you can't find something, very clean, pleasant atmosphere, and Convid-19, rules are fully covered.
Safe place to shop.

I don't like being approached and told to cover my face when your own employees aren't covered especially the one in the deli slicing meat.
I had mine pulled down for one minute because I was talking on my phone when I was approached. I pulled it up when he told me and he turned around twice to look at me as he was walking away. It seemed as though he wanted to start trouble.
Very rude and intimating!

Generally Lower priced, lower quality food than the surrounding grocery stores. One thing that is flat out weird is that they won't allow you to use a store gold card if you don't have one. They will awkwardly ask another customer if you can use one on their behalf. It's very uncomfortable and it usually holds up the line for people behind you. Not a fan.

Nice store. Easy to find items and everyone I’ve dealt with is very pleasant. Awesome salad bar and deli!

I've been buying my meat there. It has different styles of meat than I've seen in other stores. There's milk, ice tea, chicken, ice cream, soda, popsicles, buns, spaghetti sauce, meatballs, cookies, potato chips, pretzels, spaghetti noodles, soup, fresh & frozen vegetables, etc.

Great store with great deals.
I really enjoyed that all the registers were open. The back and forth between the staff and customers was nice to see.

Very expensive fruits and vegetables which is ridiculous. There not worth it. Beyond pathetic to walk in and your greeted with alcohol. It's sad that the demand for alcohol is so high. People should be trying to help these addicta instead of throw it in there face like hello here I am you drunk buy me. I hate going there.

Very clean grocery store, it's amazing looks nice the problem is the pricing for me is way to expensisve, i dont shop here due to the pricing is extremely high, thats the only reason I don't use Gerritys

Wow, pleasantly surprised by the nicely-designed interior with wood stained displays abounding. Zipped in for their signature pistachio bread so didn't get to do much price comparing, but will definitely go back!

Absolutely love shopping Gerrity.staff does excellent job in the prepared food area. Love Mike. In the meat dept. S o accommodating.staff employees always clean and crisp looking.

Gerritys is a great place to shop. Very good prepared meals and a nice bakery section. Great prices and sales.

Love the selection of meats and cheeses at the deli counter. They always have ground veal and pork that some of their bigger competitors don't usually have. Great prices on hamburger and chicken. Their staff is always friendly and helpful

Good for a small supermarket. Very good to good bakery. Limited but fresh produce selection. Only my 1st choice for quick trips due to its proximity to my residence. Prices could be more competitive given the overall limited selection.

Gerritys has a great bakery cold cut counter so many selections this is my go to store to shop great prices and sales

Most of their items are overpriced
The help isn't really customer Service Oriented. They Hire These High School Kids And They Don't Care About The Customer.

Very clean, associates are very helpful and polite especially the guy in the produce department with the glasses.
