Small history museum in Gettysburg. It is inside a house and located on the ground floor
Entrance is free. There are very interesting finds from different historical periods. Definitely worth the visit

This is about their online sales. Second to none service. Considering the valuable items they sell they ship with great care and very fair prices. Support history and anyone the preserves it. How else will we learn?

Our family discovered the Gettysburg Museum of History form the History Underground YouTube page. When we visited Gettysburg in August of 2023 we made sure to put the museum on the itinerary. We were not disappointed! This place has more than you have time to see. We will most assuredly be back.

Lots of rare, never before seen pieces of history. The only complaint, if I had to say, was it was all in a small cramped area. My understanding is that they are looking to move everything sometime.
I really enjoyed seeing everything. It's rare that you would be able to see this much and it's free!

Museum of History in Gettysburg. Small, but very stocked with finds.one of the largest private collections of artifacts from the American Civil War, WW1, WW2, presidencies and pop culture. Admission is free, but you can leave a donation.

A beautiful sight seeing experience. This historic location is a must see place while visiting the battlefields of Gettysburg. Make sure to take lots of pictures and look up the history as well.

Some exhibits were interesting. Some were just creepy and others made claims of authenticity that stretched credibility to the breaking point. Unfortunately, it had the feel of a tourist trap. In addition, the place was very cramped in terms of space. In no time at all, it was virtually shoulder to shoulder. On the short list of pluses, admission is free, hence I give it two stars instead of one.

We really enjoyed the Gettysburg museum and surrounding exhibits. After going through the indoor museum and exhibits, make sure to take some walks and do the entire driving tour. You become very familiar and oriented with this important event, and you can better relate to the people involved. There was so much to see that we spent an extra half-day to get as much in as possible. It was very interesting and informative, very well done! We will be back.

Had a great time looking around. You could literally walk the place 3 times and still not see everything. Erik has an amazing collection that rivals much larger museums. He took the time to give me some history about a knife I brought in to hopefully have him look at. He was happy to do it. He really knows his stuff. This is absolutely a must stop and see if you are in Gettysburg. Just be sure to set aside a little time so you don’t rush the visit. There really is just so much to see. Thanks for giving us fellow history nerds a real exciting place to visit! We will be back.

They have always done a 1st class job with this museum. It’s nice to be able to come to a venue that has some of the very finest pieces that the world has to offer. Thanks for the time and effort of collecting all these treasures for us to see, and giving some of them back.

I have not been able to make an in person visit, I routinely shop online to add items to my collection. Items arrive in a timely fashion and are packed by professionals so you never have to worry about your purchases getting damaged. I just love the store, history and information that is provided to all of us. They are always getting in new and exciting items so it's like Christmas when I go shopping! You don't have to worry about the authentication of items they handle all of that. Can't wait to visit and highly recommend making a purchase for the history buff in your family!

Tucked in and easily missed, if you're not careful! This is a locally owned gem of a museum where one can purchase artifacts within! Starting as a boy and receiving other neighbors' collections of Civil War items; this expanded into a variety of collectibles from many eras and walks of life. Strongly recommended as must visits.

I wouldn't know how it is, because it was closed by 5pm on a day of the Gettysburg battle reenactment.
