GIANT, Middletown PA

Just moved to the area and asked the pharmacy to call cvs in my previous town to transfer two scripts. Everything was written out even the CVS phone number, my DOB EVERYTHING. I had 90 days on both scripts. What does Giant tell me when I call them for status "you have no refills". Clearly a phone call wasn't even made because I called cvs and yes, I have 90 days. Now I'm stuck paying the higher cost at cvs because no one at Giant bothered to call. The whole point of the transfer was because the medication was less at Giant, I also explained this to the Person at Giant the first time.

There is maddd mold in the dairy section

the doors are always broken as well
please fix the doors and clean the dairy section

Sometimes it is is stocked and sometimes it is not so that can be very unhelpful when heading out for a grocery run. The store is also not very big compared to some Giant Food stores so if you are looking for gluten free or the health food selections, this store is very limited for options.

Honestly I'm disappointed black mold inside the dairy shelves and Doors are broken hard to get the items if I could I would give this zero stars

I shop here on a regular basis their prices are getting a little high but then so are other stores

Best thing that could happen to a person! Lost my wallet, a stranger came up and paid for my groceries. She would tell me her name is Marie. There are still good people in this sad world.

Need to step up their game. Not all Giant food stores are created equal. Unfortunately different areas don't get the same quality food freshness. Giant as a business needs to have some type of consistency no matter the borough or location.

My family loves the chocolate chip cookies from the bakery. Always check the date making sure they are fresh but unfortunately lately they are hard. Not sure was going on but please it need to be like it’s used to, soft, fresh and delicious!

They definitely were stocked that day. Staff is friendly and helpful, unlike another one I go to. Maybe they were just having a bad day. (the other location)

Absolute worst morning crew I have ever met in my life and the old lady that runs the self-checkout in the morning is the most disrespectful unfriendly old witch

I like giant and I like their bonus card program. This giant has a gas station so every $100 you spend you get $0.10 off per gallon. I let it build to. 40 or. 50 per gallon.

Anyway, this store is ok compared to other locations in the area. Hershey and Grayson locations are better, but this is very convenient for us who live in Middletown. It could be a little cleaner and there are some supply challenges but I chalk that up to the challenges everyone has. Employees are always nice no matter how busy. I’ll keep going here while I live in Middletown.

I have shopped at this Giant store for as long as it has been open and the last year it has went completely downhill.
What happened? There's no selection anymore and its painful enough to part with your hard earned money, but to not be able to get even the brand of items you want is even more frustrating. So I think the online shopping has ruined the quality of food and selection for the rest of us.

Excellent Services and very well stocked with all products and in orderly convenient manner easy to find very courteous cashiers and employees.

The benefit of shopping at thus Giant store is that they sell gas. Other than that this store was out of a lot if items that I was to purchase, and they do not have the UScan scanners which make my shopping more convenient and checkout much easier!

They currently have 2 employees who skateboard outside the door. Im at giant multiple times a week after work (around 9-10pm) and almost every. Single. Time. I. Go. For the last few weeks.these two employees are messing around outside! Dont you kids have a job to do? They are getting paid to skateboard out front for hours and its incredibly unprofessional! It makes me not want to shop here anymore. They will be skateboarding when I come in, and skateboarding when I come out. Ive never seem these two inside the building working! Its ridiculous!

Since remodel I can never find products I have previously bought. Directory help would be helpful as to locations since many times the overhead signs aren't accurate

Love going here for their Hot Bar " fried chicken ". They have a lady that really knows how to prepare the chicken. I try to make it at least once a week for lunch.

Clean and we'll taken care of. Went in for bread and milk left with a few extras. Couldn't pass up fudge ice cream bars and onions and of course hamburger buns at $0.99 a pack. Only thing they didn't have in Turkey Hill ice cream was CHOCOLATE. STILL WORTH 5 STARS. THANKS

I mainly go to Giant for the pharmacy and its staff. Jaime is a true asset to the company and to the customers. Every single member of the pharmacy team is amazing, friendly, and a huge reason I continue to do business there. Thank You Jaime and Thank you to your fellow team associates.

Bring back more of your Asian section and actually stop antimaskers at the door. I swear your packs of antimaskers is why I caught Covid. If you have issues telling them no, I know for a fact one of your managers is military trained.
