Grocery Store GIANT reviews
20Some of the produce goes bad 2 days after purchase. This location also seems to have frequent computer system issues and crashes that caused me to have to self check out a large order since no one else tried to open a register.
This is more for the beer and wine section. I pick up drinks a few times a month, and they really have an issue sticking people in the section that have no idea how to run it. Tonight I got charged over double the price of a mix a six, even with the manager coming to "solve" the problem. I'm leaving it as it is because the poor cashier was flustered and just wanted to go home. I will not be purchasing anymore alcohol from Giant.
Great place to shop & prices are reasonable & they have great sales as well. Always able to find what we need. Travis was so kind & helpful, couldn't find a item & he took me to it. Great customer service Travis!
Its summertime, you would think the store would be well stocked in 10 and 20 lbs if ice, Nope. Then when you don't have 20lbs.at $3.99 in stock, you charge $2.79 for 10lbs a bag, knowing if a customer needs ice badly, enough, the customer will buy it at any cost.
I visit at least one time a week. The store is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful and I usually find everything I need. I especially like they have a good stock of Latino products.
Giant has a number of hidden values. Especially, in these financially challenged times.
Food has experienced one of the highest price increases during these inflationary times. I want to provide everyone following me w/ the hidden gem sections in Giant (Stop & Shop elsewhere). DEALS BABY. DEALS BABY!
The first place I head to is the cooked cold food area. There are constant bargains on chicken quarters (BOGO), plus Barbecued Rib Slabs (My two (2) favorites).
The Ribs and Chicken are ready to eat. They only need to be heated and devoured. I usually season and cook them to my liking.
The Chicken I roast w/ Olive Oil over the top, Garlic and Onion cooked at 405 degrees, until crispy.
The Ribs get added "Sweet Baby Ray's" Sweet 'n Spicy Barbecue Sauce. Nothing else need be added. Cook at 405 degrees until hot. Just lick your fingers and say, "OH YEAH! ".
The price is "great" too. The Ribs are usually sixteen ninety-nine (16.99) and The BOGO Chicken is five (5.00). They are "Tasty Bargains". OMG!
Next stop, The Fresh Fish Area. There are several types of bargains to be found. Shrimp, Salmon, and Tilapia are just a few items. Some have store sauces and seasonings on them and are ready to be cooked. Others One can freeze or cook immediately yourself.
Some reading this review may think the food is old or expired. It's NOT! Be vigilant in examining The Expiration Date on any food item. Always follow food care and cooking instructions. Be Safe!
Lastly and most importantly, take inflation head on! Look for viable food bargains. Take a look the next time shopping and save some "REAL" dollars.

This review is for Giant Direct pick up. I don't shop inside this store but there's nothing better than listing what I want online and having someone else get it for me and bring it out to load in my car. AT NO ADDITIONAL COST!
Now if they could just improve their website so it doesn't take me so long to place my order.
Nice staff. Stocking is an issue. They can't seem to keep certain things on the shelves. I usually go to a giant the next town over.
This store is known for expired items on a regular basis, especially bread items.
Limited selection of brands compared to Weis Wegmans and Shop-Rite.
Don't waste your time going to Giant. Especially this one.
Most new hires don't care enough to answer your question - I'm repeatedly told "I don't know where you'd find that". Kinda like asking Brandon!
Thank you Brad from bakery for helping me fix the name on my son's birthday cake! I know it wasn't hard but you made my son's birthday great! ZACHERY! Doing a good job!
Needed something late a quick in and out for one item. Walked in at 10: 30 (30 mins before they closed) and what seemed to be a worker exclaimed. “Yo my man we’re closed you have to leave”. This person had a rough beard and long hair that was lose and everywhere. If he was a work he was very unprofessional in the way of addressing me. I told him “I only need one item and your hours online say you’re open till 11pm” he then stated “ I don’t care, we are closed”. Like what the hell? !
Never enough stock on shelves and totally taking advantage of the current inflation in the country. How do you go from 3 cases of water for $10.00 to $4.99 per case? That's using the current economy to Giants advantage. I'm not aware of any water shortages, just Giant robbing their customers.
Clean, well stocked, friendly, helpful staff, short, quick moving lines, always multiple cashiers on hand, ample parking, & most importantly, never over crowded, no screaming kids running around. Well mannered children! Overall pleasant shopping experience.
A mixed up mess, moving everything around again. Makes hard to find what you're looking for. Feel like changing stores.
This store is a disgrace Very empty I work for ShopRite and we look nothing like this if you compare apples to apples we have tons of product and yes we do have holes but nothing like this.
On line web site for the Nazareth store s AWfUl. Goes in and out, been problematic for the last two month’s either does not confirm order at all or today it’s all I’m html language. Can’t find a place on the site to address the myriad of issues.
I use his Giant store frequently. However, when I was in this afternoon in the expres line there was a gentleman ahead of me that was annoyed because a woman ahead of him had 2 carts full of groceries. When she left he asked the cashier why she was on the express line as there was a long line in that lane now. The cashier, I won't put her name here even though I should was very sarcastic & nasty with him. He talked to the manager, paid for his items & left. I now have my 4 items & she is now very sarcastic & nasty to me. I asked if I can get $20 back, she left out a huge sigh & rolled her eyes. I asked her if that was a problem & when I left to now talk to the manager as well about her, I heard her complain to the next person in line about us. Manager told me she does have problems, maybe she should not be at the register. Customers should not be talked to like that.
One of my favorite Giant locations BY FAR! The staff is so incredibly helpful and friendly! The store is clean and well stocked. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Had good service both in seafood and produce. They actually had celery Root which I use in place of a starchy potato in soup and in place of a mashed potato. Checkout was pleasant also.
