Giant Eagle Supermarket reviews
15This place is great! Easy to maneuver and find what you want. Great selection of items. Friendly helpful staff. Super clean.
Helpful and friendly employees are the norm for me when I shop here. Tonight I really wanted GRAPE flavored drink sticks but the brands I usually buy were missing grape as an option. I was disappointed and a little grumbly, but the young man stocking the shelf helped me try and find it and was apologetic it wasn’t available. I don’t blame those stocking the shelves, they are not the ones ordering usually. The young man who was my cashier was also very pleasant and engaging. Although prices are a little bit higher at Giant Eagle, (than Walmart) I do enjoy their staff much more.
A favorite grocery store. Most common products are available at reasonable prices although it may be less expensive at a Wal-Mart.
Love giant Eagle Yorktown. Nice produce section, great seafood counter, meat section is great, the only place I've found ground chicken. Love it.
Customer service employee barely speaks english, literally any position would be better for her in the store unless you are purposely trying to frustrate your customers.
SUCKS, will never go to Giant Eagle again! Price in the store changes when you get to the register, can't pay as credit so must use pin number allowing hackers easy access, the list goes on.
Did my western union thing got my food cash myself out at the self check out and was done in minutes.
I like the cleanliness and the stock of products but I wish they had more cashiers on hand it's always busy, and the prices could be better.
They have a good selection of food and their fuel perks are great, but they are a little on the pricey side
The store has a decent layout, although they seem to change it up every six months or so. The beer selection is alright. The produce selection is alright. Overall pretty much every aspect of the store is just alright. Neither amazing or terrible. Their bathrooms in the back smell God forsaken and you can smell them from the hotdog section nearby.
Convenient location, good selection. Have to shop carefully, can find item's elsewhere a lot better priced.
It's just okay. You kind of lose confidence in a supermarket when you realize the Walmart Supercenter has a better variety of produce as well as better prices on it. It kind of obsolesces the supermarket.
I don't shop there (I live closer to the competitor) but if you want a birthday cake, they are the best.
Parking lot is huge and well lit. Store is always well stocked and immaculately clean. Great variety, lots of open registers. Drive thru pharmacy, dry cleaners, etc.
You can find anything you're food shopping for here. And because I shop here I'm about to get gas and pay only $1.30 a gallon for it.
