Giant Eagle is the region's leading grocery store chain. They offer a wide variety of center of the store grocery items. Standouts are the produce, deli and meat departments. The service meat butcher counter features Certified Angis Beef, including USDA Prime cuts. The butchers are always willing to handle special requests. The Rochester store is currently undergoing a major remodeling. There seems to be an emphasis on new refrigeration and freezer units that are energy efficient with more closed door displays. One change that will probably be less popular is the elimination of the full service meat department in favor of grab and go service in the butcher service department. I can see this may be cost effective and convenient, but what set Giant Eagle apart from competitive stores was the availability of butchers to cut and wrap meet to order, including prime specialty cuts. I think this is a mistake.
Got everything I needed then walked into a 15 minute wait in line I put down what I picked out and Had to go I didn't have that much time to wait and I needed what I was picking out
Always fresh selections, friendly staff, even a good selection of beer and wine. A good one stop shop.
This market has a bit of everything. A good selection of ethnic foods. Items I can't find at other stores
No complaints about this store. They always have a line open for you and your delicate groceries are not packed in with the canned goods!
Big store good selection of everything you expect. They have have a hot food counter and a decent size beer and wine area.

Nice store. Over priced on most items. Good for a quick stop for sale items but would do a full grocery run.
Went from 5 star to 2 star.
When I make grocery orders now, maybe 5 out of 12 items will be in stock! And the app doesn't tell you if they're out of stock, so you fill your whole cart up, and they text you basically out of stock of EVERYTHING. Annoying. Will try another store after this.
Prices are higher than any other chain but but they have nice fresh produce, A wonderful bakery, and a huge selection. You will almost always find what you want.
Why is this Giant Eagle location always have their self checkout closed! It is noon and their self checkout is closed! This has been a regular thing. I been to many locations and at random hours but this location alway inconvenient.
They make you have a card to use the self checkout. I thought we were past places forcing you to get a card so they can sell your information to advertising companies. I'm fine with them selling it, I just don't like being inconvenienced by it
Visited pharmacy that knew my parents. They never met me til that day i brought parent over to pick up their meds and the pharmacist was being very kind, pleasant.
Always fully stocked. Best place to get fresh vegetables and fruits. Has everything you need. Accepts cash, credit cards, debit cards, food stamps and I believe personal checks. Has PA Lottery and 2 side machines with instant tickets. Money orders. Rug scrubber rentals. Propane exchange. Has 6 self check-out aisles.
