Giant Eagle Supermarket reviews
18The store has changed. Do not get a weekly flyer anymore. The staff has changed, not nearly as friendly. Overall, will be shopping less here. It's a shame.it was such a great place.
Very nice place to shop large variety prices were a little high but with the same age can't be surprised.
No organic foods, at least that I could find. The check out lady was also just miserable. Maybe she was having a bad day. IDK she's only got one job and that's to be nice. I won't return to this store.
Consistently high quality produce. Meat prices are pretty low, especially the 5-for-$25 deal. Great service.
Only one checkout line was open. At one point, there were 10 carts in the line. The cashier stayed nice, quick, and friendly.
What kind of company inflates the price of infant formula in the middle of a shortage? This one. I drove to six different stores trying to find my 6 month old sons formula. I was so relieved when I found two 33.2oz cans of Tippy Toes sensitivity premium formula at this store. Although this is not the normal brand we use, it was comparable. Giant Eagle had this off brand formula priced at $31.99. Every other store sells this brand for $26. Shame on this company for exploiting its most innocent patrons in a time of crisis.
Also, it would be helpful if management stepped in and ran a register every once in a while. Lines are always wrapped around the aisles because theres only two registers open when everyone's getting off work and shopping for dinner around 5pm. Meanwhile, you've got 3-5 employess (including management) just bee bopping around. Step in and help!
Our Bedford Giant Eagle is a small and humble store, which limits the selection of items available. But I still love shopping there because staff are so friendly and I enjoy the hometown feel.
Store is much smaller than other Giant Eagle's. Despite this, they have an adequate product selection. They've begun to carry more organic products, which is a plus. Seafood selection is nearly non-existent, though. Overall, this is a decent store, for it's size.
Prices are high, not impressed with Bakery. Does have alot of items and variety. Great produce.
Shop here frequently. It is more store for hot foods for parties. The fried chicken is awesome. I buy all my special occasions cakes. I order cakes from here aleast 4 to 6 times a year.
I was able to get in and get out and a timely fashion this time. For the price of food I would suggest a day put more cashiers up because I almost left my cart there and go somewhere else
Great shopping and even better employees. If you can't find what you're looking for here you dont need it lol
Clearly love violating people's rights and honoring the governer's edicts! Even though they are a "public business" requiring masks, though people have medical conditions, but yet first and foremost, free people, can not be required to wear anything in a public business. Will never shop there again and will discourage anyone to support their socialist b.s. Hope they not only price themselves out of business, that they starve out and shutdown and bring their socialist/communist beliefs with them.
I do shop here often. If the store is busy it can get crowded at the checkout lanes.
The staff does try to help get you through the”log jam” quickly.
Being in a pandemic created lower quality and higher prices for fresh produce and meat that has creeped into every grocery store I’ve been in…. Giant Eagle will continue to be a stop for me because they’ve done a pretty good job through this mess we’re in.
The store is dimly lit and looks dirty. The produce is hardly ever stored correctly. The deli only sells presliced cheese. Save yourself some time and go to a better grocery store.
The Bedford store is lacking selection and prices are high enough and keep going up. Some polite cashier's and some nasty mean ones. I only go here when I don't wanna drive 20 or 30 minutes.
The girl that works in the deli in the afternoon and evening is just down right rude. She does not represent the way the other employees act towards customers. She can use some hospitality training.
